Book6Chapter6
I rebuked, “Why should I? She deserves everything she got.”
After saying that, I opened the car door and was about to get out, but he locked the door, “You caused her to have a miscarriage, you almost ruined her marriage, is it too much to ask for an apology?”
He stared at me with bloodshot eyes.
But I laughed, “Isn’t that better? It’s perfect for you and her, isn’t it?”
Hearing this, Ethan suddenly got out of the car like a madman, then opened the door and dragged me out.
“You must apologize today.”
He said as he dragged me towards the villa
I tried to struggle, but I was too weak to resist.
He dragged me all the way into our former bedroom.
Emily was lying pale on the bed. When she saw me, she got out of bed emotionally and walked up to me, slapping me hard across the face.
“You bitch, you killed my child, I’ll kill you.
She was about to hit me again, but Ethan stopped her, “Emily, stop it, you haven’t recovered yet. I’ll make her kneel down and apologize to you.”
Then Ethan looked at me, “You kneel down and apologize to Emily today, and this matter will be over.”

I spat, “In your dreams.”
Suddenly, my knee hurt, and I was forced to kneel down.
Ethan pressed down on my shoulders, “Since you’re here, you don’t have a choice.”
Seeing me in such a sorry state, Emily smiled triumphantly, then slowly squatted down, looking at me with vicious eyes.
“How can you be so cruel? Do you feel a sense of accomplishment for killing an
innocent child?”
I sneered, staring at her fearlessly, and slowly said, “Yes, I want your child to die, I want you and Ethan to die.”
“Okay, then I’ll let you die first.
My pupils dilated instantly as I watched her take out a fruit knife and quickly plunge it into my body.
Ethan reacted and hurriedly pushed her away, then hugged me, “Claire, are you okay?”
I didn’t feel any pain, but my vision went black, and I lost consciousness.
I don’t know how long passed, but when I woke up, I was in the hospital. Ethan was sitting by my bed dozing off with his head down.
Seeing him, my mind went blank for a moment, but I quickly remembered everything.
I looked at him coldly, wishing I could stab him.
Suddenly, I saw a water cup on the bedside table. I reached for it, ignoring the pain in my wound.

Perhaps the movement was too loud, Ethan woke up and looked at me with
surprise.
At this moment, I also got the water cup and threw it at his face.
He couldn’t dodge in time, the cup hit his forehead, and a thin stream of blood immediately flowed down from his forehead.
He was stunned for a moment, then walked up to me apologetically, trying to hold
- me.
I pushed away his touch in disgust, tearing the wound again, and I gasped in pain.
“Claire, I’m sorry, I didn’t know she had a knife hidden.”
He looked at me cautiously, his eyes filled with guilt and self–blame.
“Get out.”

As soon as I shouted, I felt a sharp pain in my wound. I looked down and saw that the wound was bleeding, soaking my hospital gown.
Ethan was also startled. He hurriedly ran out to find a doctor.
In the following days, Ethan continued to shamelessly visit me, but I didn’t eat anything he bought.
When I was too hungry, I could only hire a caregiver, not daring to tell my parents about my injury for fear of worrying them.
During this time, I also contacted a lawyer.
