Mom and Dad rushed to the hospital overnight.
The moment Faye saw my parents, tears began to flow uncontrollably.

“Where’s your sister? She’s in the same department, isn’t she coming to see you?”

“My sister has already been discharged.”

“Don’t worry Faye, Mom and Dad will always protect you.”
Hearing her parents‘ words, a warm feeling welled up in Faye’s heart.

The next day, when Alec entered the hospital room, he saw the heartwarming scene of Faye surrounded by my parents.
He felt a bit uncomfortable, as he couldn’t recall ever seeing my parents treat me like that.
“Alec, thank you so much for Faye’s heart.”
My parents were focused on thanking Alec, without mentioning me at all. Alec asked his parents if they had any news about me. My parents immediately became displeased at the mention of me. “Why do you care about her? She’s already been discharged from the hospital, which means she’s fine. You should focus more on Faye.”
“Faye has always been frail since childhood, while Melody is as strong as an ox.”
My parents had always intended to set up Melody and Alec, but due to Faye’s condition, they hadn’t explicitly said so.

“Everyone in the department knows. No need to pretend.”
With that, he left the room to attend to his duties.
My parents held onto Alec.
“Alec, since Melody isn’t here anyway, if your colleagues think Faye is your wife, they’ll take better care of her.”
Alec saw that Faye’s eyes had turned red, and he forcefully suppressed his anger. Upon returning to the office, Alec hadn’t even found his colleague to talk to when someone said Alec’s mentor had arrived.
Hearing this, Alec rushed to the director’s office.
The moment he saw Damien, Alec rushed forward and hugged him.

After a moment of silence in the office, someone burst in.
“Dr. Frost, come quick! The family members of the patient in bed 32 are fighting.”
Hearing “bed 32“, Alec thought of Faye.
He immediately sprinted to the ward.
As soon as he entered, he heard someone shouting.
How dare you deny it! My niece donated her heart to your son!”
Alec rushed forward to separate the two.
Mrs. Frost’s eyes welled up with tears of frustration when she saw
Alec.
The other person who had been pulled away started shouting again as soon as he spotted Alec.
“It’s you! My niece Melody’s heart belongs to you.”
