Chapter 3
The woman in the mirror had messy, greasy hair covered in blood
Her face was pale with several dry blood stains on it, but her lips were drained of colors.
Samantha smacked her lips with disgust and thought, I’ve never been so disheveled before. This is really embarrassing”
Fortunately, Samantha had a pretty face and a pointed chin. Her beautiful eyes were especially attractive as well.
There was also a small beauty mark in the corner of her left eye, which made her look more enchanting
A faint smile would make her look like a vixen that could beguile people.
“Mommy_”
“Huh?” Samantha turned to look at the kid who had been following her shamelessly
“I’m sorry, Mommy.” When the kid felt her stare, tears rolled down his cheeks.
“I couldn’t find you. They kept me at home and stopped me from leaving. These few days, I went on a hunger strike, smashed things, and threw tantrums before I managed to get Great–Granddad to bring you home. Still, I was too late. They still managed to beat you up. I’m sorry, Mommy. I’m so ashamed. I don’t deserve to be your son.”
Samantha’s lips twitched. She thought, “This rascal is so eloquent, just like me.”
As her interest was piqued, she smiled. Even her disheveled appearance couldn’t hide the elegance that came from within
her.
The blood stain next to the small beauty mark in the corner of her left eye looked like a blooming poppy.
“What’s your name? How old are you?”
The kid, who was crying silently just now, began wailing at that.
“Mommy, are you so mad that you don’t want me anymore?”
“What?” Samantha patted the kid’s head. “Stop crying! I just lost my memory. I didn’t say I don’t want you.”
The kid was stunned to hear that. He blinked his teary eyes and looked at Samantha, echoing, “Lost your memory?”
“Yes.” Samantha sighed and added helplessly, “I was beaten so hard that I forgot what happened in the past.
“I guess it should be fine to lie to a kid, right?” she thought.
Tears kept racing down the kid’s cheeks, but he clenched his fists tightly. “Don’t worry, Mommy. I will definitely avenge you!”
“Nah, it’s okay. You should just concentrate on your studies. I will make their life a living hell”
Staring at Samantha’s gloomy smile, the kid stopped crying.
He felt as if a gust of cold wind blew past him, which made his goosebumps raise.
He thought, “Why does Mommy look like a different person after losing her memory? Forget it. She’s my mommy who gave birth to me and raised me, so I’ll just let her be. As for those who bullied us, I’ll remember them. I’ll wait for the right opportunity to seek revenge!”
At that moment, Wayne brought the medical kit over.

Chapter 3
Ryland glanced at Samantha and whispered, “Mommy, Great–Granddad is in poor health recently. They seem to be fighting over the family assets. I suspect that the fake grandma kidnapped us to fight for family assets. After all, I’m the only great- grandson of Great–Granddad now.”
Samantha sneered as she played with her half–dried hair with her fingers. “What’s the point of fighting over the meager family assets? I won’t even want it even if they offer it to mel
Ryland’s mouth twitched as he looked at his mother in disbelief
He thought. “How could Mommy have the courage to say such shameless words? And she sounds so rude. We’ve been living a miserable life in the countryside all these years. We would only have meat once a week at most, and I never had any toys. also have to borrow books from Mr. Hughman in the mountains. Where on earth did she get the confidence to say such words?”
“What? Brat, you don’t believe me?” Samantha arched her brow and looked at Ryland.
“No, I won’t dare to Ryland turned timid right away.
Snorting, Samantha flipped her hair, stood up, and said domineeringly, “Get me a laptop. I’ll show you what a miracle is!!
Her hair hit Ryland’s face, which immediately turned red. Covering his cheek, Ryland said weakly, “Great–Granddad gave me a laptop I’ll bring it over from my room.”
After a while, Ryland appeared with the laptop,
He also brought a plate of fruit and peanuts.
“Not bad.” Samantha patted Ryland on the head. “You know I’m hungry and brought me food, huh? What a good son you are. You’re so thoughtful for your age.”
Hearing that, Ryland pursed his lips. He was too embarrassed to say that he brought the snacks because he was worried about getting bored but being unable to leave if Samantha failed to make the so–called miracle.
But when Samantha mentioned it, he felt guilty,
“I didn’t even notice that Mommy’s hungry. It seems that I’m still far from being a good son,” he thought.
Samantha put the laptop on the table and slowly opened it, a lollipop in her mouth. With her crossed legs and her relaxed. posture, she looked like a big shot.
The next second, she exclaimed, “What kind of shitty laptop is this? Its configuration is so poor! Trash!”
