After dinner, they headed home from the Gurray residence.
On the way, Samantha asked Francis, “Where did you bring Elise to?”
Francis answered, “South Mountain.
Samantha squinted and said, “Send her back to the Johansson residence. Also, tell Darius that Lucille was cheating on him and in a relationship with more than one person. If she dared to touch my son, I would ensure she suffered. I will destroy everything she cares about, one by one, and make her live a life worse than death.”
Ryland cheered, “Good job! She even put a knife around my neck. She is bad! She almost killed me. What a meanie!”
Isaac patted Ryland on the head and comforted him, “Ryland, don’t be afraid. I will practice boxing hard and protect you in
the future.”
“Thank you, Isaact But… Can you stop patting me on the head? I won’t be able to grow tall anymore,” said Ryland with a dejected look.
Samantha thought for a while and added, “Besides, tell the matter that happened at Elise’s birthday banquet to the Baxter family
She looked at the two children in the backseat and said, “The kids are here, so it’s inconvenient for me to talk about the details. Fiz, you should know.”

The next day, everyone in the Johansson residence erupted into chaos.
When the butler opened the door early in the morning, he saw Elise lying at the door covered with blood.
Lucille held Elise and cried bitterly. After going to the hospital for an examination, she stayed in the latter’s room all day. However, before she returned to her senses from her daughter’s severe injuries, Darius returned home in a rage.

“Why are you still pretending in front of me? Darius took out his phone, smashed it into Lucille’s hand, and continued, “The hotel records and photos of you and Damien making out have been sent to my phone, threatening me for 2 million dollars! Otherwise, he’ll expose you!”

Darius pushed Lucille to the ground like a madman and smashed everything to the ground.
All kinds of sounds filled Elise’s room, the sound of glass smashing, the screaming and crying of the woman.
And it alarmed Alec directly.
“What are you doing?” Alec stood at the door and looked at the crazy, embarrassed scene inside the room cold/
With a sullen face, Darius didn’t respond.
Lucille sat on the ground, crying. Elise was still unconscious.

“Stop screaming! How dare you!” Alec trembled in anger and cursed, “The dignity of the Johansson family has been humiliated by you whore!”
“And you!” Alec stared at Darius, darkened–faced.
“So, this is your so–called dear wife! When you were going to marry her last time, I told you that her family’s social status wa too low and unsuitable for our family. Yet, you never listened and complimented her in every way. Look, what have the mother and daughter done? Do you have to destroy the Johansson family in your hands so that you would be happy?”
Lucille was in a mess. Kneeling in front of Alec, she grabbed at tus clothes and begged bitterly, “Alec, please, for the sake of Elise, please spare me this time. Isn’t he just asking for money? Let’s give him the money and settle the matter first. Elise is going to marry into the Baxter family not long after.”
“Money! How dare you talk about money?” Darius kicked her.
“Darius!” Lucille suddenly roared at him, looking unwilling.

After a long while. Alec tapped on his walking stick and spoke, “It’s normal for a man to have some secret lovers as long as they don’t cause trouble or affect the reputation of the family. But Lucille, you’re caught red–handed by someone else, threatened the family and even demanded 2 million dollars.”
He paused for a while and continued, “I remember that I have given you and Elise a lot of real estate over the years. You should pay these 2 million dollars yourself.”
Alec’s eyes were frigid and indifferent.
“Solve it as soon as possible. You will know what will happen if this matter is spread out.”
With that, he left.
Darius glared at Lucille angrily and left as well.
Lucille slumped on the ground in despair.

She had always known that Alec was ruthless, and all he cared about was the dignity and interests of the Johansson family.

At the thought of that, Lucille couldn’t help lying on Elise’s bed, sobbing and crying.
