Chapter 27
Eden’s POV
It’s four am on Saturday and it’s Inez’s wedding day.
We all woke up very excited, the excitement dethroned the feeling of tiredness in me.
The week has been a stressful one being an assistant and bride’s best woman in the same week as the welding is stressful
We went from shopping to a court wedding and now the white wedding is in a few hours.
All through the week I have been busy with work and making sure things are in order before the wedding.
We all looked gorgeous in our respective dresses.
The bride looks radiant in her stunning wedding gown, which flows elegantly around her, the dress is a vision of white.
We left for the church at exactly nine am when we arrived at the wedding venue.
The venue as well decorated.
I stood still admiring her beautiful wedding dress that flowed gracefully around her, intricate lace and beadwork, shimmering in the light.
The fitted body accentuates her figure while the flowing skirt billows out in a stunning train behind her.
Her hair was elegantly styled and adorned with glittering tiara,
Radiating happiness her face glows with inner light, and her eyes sparkles with excitement as she walks down the aisle with dad holding her by the side.
There I was standing and admiring my friend. I feel so happy for Reese because he has won a lifetime jackpot by marrying

She is an epitome of beauty with a beautiful soul, she’s fun to be with, a nurturer, industrious, hardworking and most importantly she’s a financial manager,
Right from our childhood days she has been the smartest among us.
Reese was already at the altar dressed in his sparkling, well tailored flower suit that shines as much as his mood does, he kept a very close watch at every step closer to him that she takes, the way he looked at her with admiration gave me goosebumps.
Reese and Inez had such a great relationship and companionship that we all admire.
The chemistry between them screams so loud to the hearing of all the congregation.
My eyes began to well up with emotions, the. Thought of i will be the only one left single began to sneak it way into my mind, I shoved it off and concentrated on how exciting those couples are.
The whole place was colorful and the colors brightened our mood.
I watched with teary eyes how they exchanged their marriage vows with so much sincerity and love in every word they
uttered.
It was a mind–blowing moment for the witnesses because we couldn’t help but notice their undiluted affection for each

I love the way he pays attention to every detail that concerns her and her needs. Even while they were dating, he never wanted her lacking anything, she always feels comfortable and secure whenever she’s around him.
It was all a bed of roses for them.
The memory of their first year in relationship visited, the differences between them at first will make one think they will never end up together.
But then Incz is a good communicator and Reese a good listener, they communicated so well though sometimes it ends in a fight, but they never gave up on each other and here we are all gathered to witness their vows to each other forever.
“Are you okay?” Trevor tapped my shoulder.
He happened to be the best man to the groom, he is Reese’s very good friend.
I was startled.

“Jeez calm down,” he whispered under his breath
“Uhmm yes I’m good.”
“Are you sure?”
“You seem distracted.”
“No..I’m not distracted, I’m just admiring the couples,” I assured him.
“Yea they look so good together,” he whispered
I nodded in agreement and looked away.
I have been avoiding Trevor since the last time in my apartment that we almost got down together.
He has sent me quite a number of gifts, flowers and messages. He is so good at doing this and I like that part.
It was an emotional moment for the whole congregation. I could tell some had goosebumps all over while others butterflies were flying in their bellies.
For me I was already having both goosebumps on my skin and butterflies in my belly by the time they were done with their vows and exchange of rings.
“You may now kiss the bride,” said with a smile on his face.

“Go get a room people,” a male voice from the congregation teased.
The church session ended in joy as we all made a grand entrance into the reception.
The hall was decorated colorfully with flowers, candles and other elegantly touches, the whole place sparkled with excitement and love.
The sound coming from the DJ’s corner is melodious to the car and comforting to the heart.
Trevor and I had to be close to each seeing that he’s the groom’s best man and I’m the bride’s best woman.

She always fantasizes and wishes her favorite artist will sing a live song while she dances her first dance with the lucky man.
And indeed Reese has made it come true.
It wasn’t easy having the artist to come because he’s a busy person but then here are we and the joy and excitement that she exudes were priceless.
The air was fully charged with love and happiness,love indeed is a beautiful thing.
Mom was telling the truth when she told just that Reese is a promising young man and over the years we have all confirmed
that.
The dance was over and several toast were made for them showering them with so many blessings.
Refreshments went round and the reception ended in taking pictures, and I could tell from all our faces that we wished them well and admired their kind of love.
Indeed your wedding day is a memorable one but Reese and Inez made theirs a memorable one for themselves and we the writeness.
