Eden’s POV
“I want to excuse you love birds to have fun, let me go over there and concentrate on my work, it’s almost lunchtime,” I replied.
I was tense and walked away with shivering legs.
“Calm down.”

I whispered to myself.
I dropped the laptop in my hands and entered the kitchen to get a bottle of water, to help suffice my tension.
I gulped a complete bottle down my throat, my heart palpitated faster than normal and sweat came dripping over my body.
I stood in the kitchen for a while and came out and headed straight into the bathroom to get
refreshed.
I dipped my head in the sink and turned on water from the sink tap over my
face.

I took a deep breath in and out over and over again, until I felt a little sense of calm.
I walked out of the bathroom to the dining space where I dropped the laptop and picked it up.
I couldn’t risk looking in their direction for my mental health’s sake.
I picked the laptop and headed into the office space, I took a seat and dropped the laptop o struggled to focus on the work before me in the midst of chaos.

In the depth of my despair, the career part of me reminded me that I had to focus on my work to pay my bills.
I snapped out of my thoughts and dived into work,I have just a few minutes left out of the two hours he gave me.
And I have like twenty emails left unattended to.

The rhythm Alexis moans tarments my ears and I felt like I have been betrayed whereas in a real sense I was the betrayer.

With a broken heart and teary eyes I finished up the lunch and set the table.
They were still clinging to each other on the couch at the time I got into the living space to inform them that lunch was ready.
I stood there and swallowed hard, and gathered the courage to utter words.
