“You Anty Elena and your fiancee are in the kitchen while Andrew I sent him to get me some papers from the library he explained.

“Yes dad it’s the whole family here, I just hope I will not be the talk of the day, because the last time this type of lunch happened I was force into doing something I was not ready for

He picked up his glasses and papers.

He handed over the papers in his hand to Dad.
“So tell me when do you intend to start up the company?”
“Well I have done the necessary registrations needed, once I get two or three employees we will start properly. I have bought an advertisement with some papers here in New York..”

I stood up and left them still talkin, I wish I knew what was going to happen so I prepared for it but then one thing that calms me down with the whole situation is that Anty Elena is here too.
I was going up stairs to my room for some quiet time when I saw Anty Elena coming out of the kitchen.
“Anty!”
“Son! How are you?”
“I’m fine, thank you.”
We hugged and she looked at me and smiled.
“You are looking gud.”
“Why are you going upstairs? the table is set already,”
We were still talking when Alexis walked in on us.

“You didn’t mention you were coming for the lunch, I thought you will be busy with the birthday preparations,”

Anty Elena was looking at my mom in an unbelievable way.
“You still haven’t come up with a wedding date.”
“Mom 1 will myself and Alexis are just taking our time besides we are engaged already, we don’t see any need for the rush, babe right?”
“People are beginning to ask questions, her parents are running out of patience,” mom informed.
Anty Elena gulped a sip of juice down her throat.
“Sister. I think is right we allow them both take their time, we all know how marriage can be, I don’t see any reason for the rush.”

Alexis looked confused with nothing to say.
“I’m giving you the next two weeks to fix a wedding date or I will fix it myself, I cannot sit down and watch you destroy this family’s legacy

Dad was just gesturing to me to calm down.
“Why, is it because there’s another woman?” mom asked in an indignation tone.
“Mom! I am an adult, a grown up man at that and you cannot always make choices for me.
She sighed in exasperation, “Tell me any of the choices you made that was right,”
“You have never allowed me to make any, but this time I will not allow you detect how my life will be forever.”
“Besides, what wife will always come to her mother–in–law to report her husband and not learn to handle the issues between her and her husband?” I mouthed.
“Enough. You both should allow us finish what is left if our lunch in peace,”
