“The dress looks amazingly stunning on you,” Sam expressed the moment the clothes settled well on me.

She hugged me from the back, we both, looking at our image in the mirror.
“You are such a beautiful lady,” she whispered into my ear.
Pride swelled up in me as her words got deeper into me

“People will confuse you for the celebrant,”
“Alexis will kill me there and then, it’s not enough that I had some thing to do with her man, and now I want to take her glory at her own party,”

The slitted black gown with so many sparkles on it fits her so well.

The shiny necklace adds so much life to her dress, it complimented the dress perfectly.
We both added a few touches of makeup on our faces, I had an internal admiration for myself as 1 looked into the mirror.
My phone’s ringtone interrupted my self admiration.

“Hello,” I said, my gaze still glued on the image of me in the mirror.
“Hi, I will be at your place in a few minutes,” Trevor said.
“Okay, we are ready.”
Trevor will be here in a few minutes I announced to Sam.
We both picked our purse,
“I think he is here.” I said when I saw his incoming call on my phone.
“Okay, then, shall we?”
“Yes,”
We both cat walked carefully to the door.
Sam opened the door and stepped out, I stepped out too and slammed the door.
Trevor was leaning his back on his car, he looks so good in his well fitted coffee brown suit on black pant and dress shirt
His face filled with smiles and surprise the moment he saw Sam and 1.

All of our faces were e
glowing with smiles as we sat in the car.
He started the engine and drove off, the air conditioner in the car made the ride a comfortable one.
The calm music coming from the radio was calming and comforting me.
We didn’t really talk too much, we all silently enjoyed the rhythm coming out of the radio.
The cold breeze from the air conditioner kissed my skin. As we approached the party venue my heart pounds heavily, in my silence I wondered what would happen there.
Now that I’m sure someone else that I don’t know knows about my secret affair with Hunter, what if it’s Alexis and she decides to keep mute,
What if she planned to publicly disgrace me, because she has called me several times to ask if I will make it to the party.
With my eyes closed I got lost in thought..
The car stopped moving, I opened my eyes and realized that we had arrived at the venue, so many people were walking in
and out.

“You were silent all through the ride. Sam and I talked and you didn’t notice,”

There are many people moving into the premises, I didn’t expect this many people.

Few Walks away from the parking lot I sighted Hunter and Andrew standing at the entrance.
They were both grabbed in well thilored flower suits, and a black pants, their hairs were shining and dazzling.
Sam quickly looked at me and our gaze in each other’s, she gently closed her eyes with gestures that were telling me to be calm, with so much assurance in her eyes.
She quietly passed her message with her gestures to avoid Treavor who was in between us from noticing.
“Good evening sir,” Sam greeted Hunter.
“Evening Sam, you’re looking stunning,”
“Thank you sir, you are looking good too,
“Good evening,” Andrew and Sam exchange pleasantries.
“Sam, why are you alone? Where is your date?”
“He canceled at the die minutes,“
“You’re lucky Andrew’s date cannot make it too, I guess you both can pair that is if you don’t mind.

A look of disbelief crossed Andrew’s face, he couldn’t believe that Hunter just matched him with Sam.

Hunter’s eyes blazed with intensity as he looked at me.

She kissed him and turned to us
“Eden!” She called my name in surprise.
She look so beautiful in her bra hand sleeveless red gown, her face glowing with smiles and excitement.
“Happy birthday Miss Quinn,” I wished her.
“You made it to my party, oh my goodness your dress looks stunning, now I feel like I should go for a change of dress, because I’m beginning to feel like you’re gonna take all the glory at my party,” she said.
I was startled and a ball formed in my throat.
“Right honey?” she asked Hunter
He just stared at her with no words.
“Is this your boyfriend?” She asked, directing her gaze to Trevor
“Eden I must say you really have good eyes for good men,”
I didn’t understand what she meant by men, but I don’t want too much of her talk either.
I was beginning to feel uneasy when I felt a hand tapped and squeezed my back gently.
“Hello, my name is Alexis,” she extended a handshake to him.
He shook her hand, “I’m Treavor, happy birthday,”
