As I sit in my room, still completely shaken and upset, I hear a soft knock on the door.

My sobs gradually subside, and I lean into his embrace, finding comfort in his powerful presence.
After a while, the Alpha pulls back slightly and looks into my eyes. “Would you like to come with me? I want to go get your bracelet back for you, and I want you to be there when we confront that man and his friends.” He questions me, as I grow increasingly nervous from the suggestion
I hesitate for a moment, still feeling scared and vulnerable – “P-Please don’t let him touch me again… he… he slapped me mumble, my breathing catching in my throat as I attempt to keep my composure.

“That man, also slapped you?!” He seethes, speaking through his teeth as I tremble in fear.
“N–Not on my face… on my… my butt.” I all but whisper, before he closes his eyes and unleashes a hellish growl one that rips out all the way up from the depths of his stomach.
I flinch at the sound, scampering up and away from him, before he breathes in and out at a rapid pace….
“You are coming with me! Let’s go!” The Alphas eyes snap open, now completely black and lifeless as his hand reaches out to grab my smaller one leading me out of the room and downstairs.
We walk outside together, as I stumble over my own feet in an attempt to keep up with his furious pace.
The A The Alpha’s demeanor has changed, his usually calm and composed aura now radiating fierce determination. He marches through the pack’s territory. his eyes scanning every area, looking for the man in question and his friends,
The Alpha seems to already know who exactly he is looking for, as I breathe rapidly–fear and bile rising up in my throat from the sudden dread I was -noir feeling.

We enter the familiar town, the same one I had been to earlier today with Ruth, as the Alpha marches me down the street and towards a cabin style pub building
He pushes at the door, slamming it against the pillar on the inside, before dragging me in behind him facing a room completely filled with male

s my eyes glance around at all of the stunned wolves who look somewhat
His head moves around the room, as my hand trembles in his, growing all the more uncomfortable under the rooms watchful gaze.
He seems to settle his eyes on one table in the far corner, before he takes large strides towards the group of men which I immediately recognise as the group from earlier.
He’s found them…..
As we approach the group, I cling tightly on to the Alpha’s hand, my heart pounding in my ears as I try my upmost hardest not to cry again.
The men notice us coming towards them, before the main one smiles up at us innocently. “Alpha you want a beer?” I hear the sleazy man’s voice fill the space, before the Alpha hauls me out from behind him–revealing me fully to the group of men as some of their eyes widen in realisation..
“You dare to lay a hand on a member of this pack?” The Alpha’s voice booms, sending the whole of the room into deafening silence, as I turn to see some of the pack members even leaving the building now…
“You not only disrespected Rose here, but you also stole from her. Do you think such behavior is acceptable around her? Under my fucking rule?!” He thunders, as the majority of the men grow nervous as they submit to him by showing their necks.
The man’s bravado falters, and he stammers, “1-1 thought she was a visitor… she doesn’t smell like our pack… I didn’t mean any harm by it. We were just having some fun. He defends his actions, as I attempt to take a step back from the table – however the Alpha holds me there – by his side.
The Alpha’s eyes flash with anger, before he pushes me back behind him and steps closer, his towering presence making the man shrink beneath him. “There is nothing fun about harassing a tiny female and taking something from her that doesn’t belong to you–regardless of if she is from here or not?” the Alpha says in a low, menacing tone.
“I won’t tolerate such behavior in my pack!” He states next, before letting go of my hand and dragging the man up from his place on the seat.
With that, the Alpha demands that the man returns my bracelet immediately, as he scampers to find it in his pockets – eventually retrieving it.
The Alpha snatches it from him, turning next to hand it to me as I sigh in relief- thankful that it wasn’t yet broken or ruined.
“Wait outside for me Rose 111 only be a minute. The Alpha demands next, as my eyes widen and I immediately rush towards the exit – not liking the
sound of his tone now.
The men waiting outside, Instinctively move away from me as I step out, deciding that they would be safer in this moment if they kept a distance from
I fumble with my bracelet, groaning slightly, before I turn to find someone nearby – a thought coming to mind….
I approach a nearby male, who is smoking a cigarette, before he notices me approaching and walks off in the other direction – not wanting to be seen
with me.
I kick the din next in frustration, before almost jumping out of my skin when hearing a voice coming from behind me
“Don’t take it personally people just want to keep their heads since you did, after all, come all the way down here with the Alpha whilst he was pissed off.” I turn to find a younger guy smiling, roughly the same age as me, as he speaks openly seeming unfazed.
“…I just wanted help putting this on?” I hold up the gift that Ruth had gotten me, as he nods in understanding–taking it from me carefully,
“How come you aren’t scared to talk with me?” I ponder out loud, watching the man fumble to fasten the clip around
“Because he’s not a fool like the rest of them!” I yelp out at the A
Alphas sharp tone that speaks out from behind me.

Chapter 15
“Come on, we are going home.” The Alpha announces next, as he thanks Oliver briefly before we both walk away from the town.
The Alpha’s grip on my hand remains firm, reassuring me that I’m safe now, as I smile in victory – having my bracelet back.
I don’t know what he did to that guy after I went outside… but I don’t think I want to know either…
“Who is Oliver? He was the only one that would help me with the bracelet. Everyone else was too scared to even speak to me incase you lost it with them.” I speak my thoughts out loud, as we continue to walk home my hand still linked with his.
“Oliver is fine. He is one of my close friends – little brother. He won’t hurt you or cause you any trouble.” He explains, as I chew my lip and nod.
Maybe Oliver could become another friend of mine besides Ruth? Or perhaps that would be wishful thinking? I might be getting ahead of myself by wanting to make two friends now…
Finally making it back to the safety of the Alpha’s quarters, 1 sigh, turning to face him again. “Thank you for getting my bracelet back. I can’t wait to tell Ruth.” I smile up at him, as he watches me steadily- nodding once.
“You’re basically a member of this pack now, Rose. You will be treated as such!” He retorts, as 1 continue to smile.
“Thank you… I will leave you now to relax and enjoy your night. I’m sorry if I have kept you from your other duties. I bow my head at him slightly, showing that I am eternally grateful and respectful of his status, before I turn to head in the direction of my own room at the end of the hall.
Before I can take all of five steps, a tight hand finds itself attaching on to me – causing me to gasp and turn back to him.
An unknown emotion lies behind his desperate eyes, as he remains silent for a moment–seeming to think over his words.
I actually have… a duty to complete tonight… which involves you.” He states, his for some form of approval.
