“Come on, Rose,” Oliver voice was confident as I skipped along beside him, trying to keep up with his pace. “It’s time for your first run! You won’t ever experience a better feeling believe me! 1 remember my first ever run… didn’t want to go back inside! He chuckles, as I laugh at his statement.

I then closed my eyes, focusing on shifting, before feeling the odd sensation begin. Slowly, I felt my human form dissolve, replaced by the exhilarating rush of becoming my wolf self. My senses heightened, the work! transforming into a symphony of scents and sounds – before I successfully land down on all fours.
My paws feel soft against the smooth leaves, as I pad my feet around to embrace the new feeling. The gentle breeze then began to ruffle through my fur as I shiver and spin around to follow the wind in its movements….
I turn to find Oliver, now in his own darker brown wolf, as he yaps and joins in my excitement to go on my first ever run!
He gestures with his head for me to follow him, as I waste no time before padding alongside his wolf through the trees. His golden eyes glint with excitement as he glances over at me, his wagging tail a clear invitation to join him in the upcoming adventure. My heart pounded nervously, but his encouraging presence helped ease my anxiety… he was like a true friend to me now!
Oliver slows in his walk, before he nods for me to watch his next move. He lowers his front paws, inviting me to play along and copy him as I do just that,
With newfound confidence, I follow his swift movements, crouching down before springing forward and into a fast paced sprint…
The sensation of the forest floor beneath my paws was both foreign and exhilarating. My heart raced as I chased after Oliver, my wolf instincts guiding my every move. The wind rushed past me, and I reveled in the pure freedom of it all. For the first time in my life, I felt alive in a way I had never imagined possible.
We darted through the trees, our playful yaps echoing in the air as we constantly nipped at each other’s heels in our race. Oliver led me on a winding path around the outskirts of the pack territory, his guidance helping me navigate this new experience which so far, was perfect!
Eventually, we reached a serene spring water clearing as we slowed down for a break. The sun danced on the surface of the water, and the scent and sounds of nature surrounded us.

As we rested for a few minutes, Oliver’s gaze met mine, a contented smile on his wolfish face. It was as if he understood the significance of this moment, the freedom and joy it brought to both me and my wolf.
With a playful nudge, Oliver signaled that it was time to head back again. We retraced our steps, our pace more leisurely as we savored the beauty of the forest and it’s floral variety.
Eventually, we reached the spot where we had left our clothes – behind the blushing pink cherry blossom tree!

As we strolled through the cobblestone streets, various stalls and shops lined the same road where they had been before, each one offering unique treasures and gifts. Oliver led me through the market, his familiarity with the place evident as he even stood and chatted to some of the stall owners.
