An hour later, at seven in the evening, they stepped out of the spital. The sky had turned a light shade of dusk, and the streetlights were casting a warm glow.
Kylie checked a message from Ethan on her phone, quickly replied that she was on her way home, and turned to Trevor “Mr. Walters, I won’t be heading back to Starlit Villa just yet. I need to stop by my mom’s place first.”

Before Trevor could respond, Kylie’s phone rang. She glanced at the screen and bid Trevor farewell. As she answered the call, she headed toward the parking lot.

As he watched Kylie’s retreating figure, Trevor’s eyes darkened.
Zach approached from a distance, accompanied by a sharply dressed man, Norbert Schneider, in his mid–thirties. Upon reaching Trevor, Zach scanned the area and asked, “Mr. Walters, where’s Ms. Thompson?”
Norbert also spoke up. “Mr. Walters”
Trevor’s face was stern as he replied, “She just left.””
“What?” Zach was taken aback. He thought to himself, The backlash against Kylie Thompson was spreading like wildfire online. Yet, the Lampard family appeared unfazed by the possibility of her public humiliation. Their PR was a fortress. Had their callous tactics left Kylie shattered?‘
“I’ll go find Ms. Thompson right away and make sure she doesn’t do anything foolish” Zach pulled out his phone to look for Kylie’s number.
With the prevalence of internet trolls these days, many people were driven to suicide or depression by their attacks. He needed to talk to Kylie.
“She won’t do anything foolish, Trevor said in a deep voice. Then, turning to the suited Norbert, he asked, “How quickly can you resolve this matter?”

If it weren’t for the Lampard family’s relentless actions against Kylie now, they would have thought that Kylie, back with her biological family, would be cared for by the Lampard family just as she was in their home. But they didn’t know what Kylie had experienced with them and why she was facing these issues now.
After comforting Amanda, Kylie let her go to bed. She then discussed the current situation with her two brothers.
