glanced at her watch. It was 7 pm. If Jessie kept drinking like this, she’d soon be completely drunk. “Don’t overthink it. You’ve known each other since you were kids. If there’s something wrong, talk it out. Women naturally like to overthink. You sad this yourself. Did you forget?” Kyle took Jessie’s drink away again.
Come on, let’s go outside and watch the rain.” Kylie suggested.
“I don’t want to see it. It was the rain this afternoon that put me in a bad mood. I don’t want to look at the rain. Lets

Just then Jessie’s phone rang. When she saw that it was Henry calling, she froze, staring blankly at the screen. After a few
oments of silence, the call ended. But soon enough, it started ringing again. It was still Henry.
Ke answered the phone. “Hello, Mr. Hawkins. This is Kylie.”
Why are you answering? Is Jessie there?” Henry’s tone camed a hint of surprise.
We’re at the Midnight Bar Kylie replied
War for me. I come pick her up. Henry said.
“Kinght” Kyle agreed.
Ar kanpop, Kyle turned to Jessie, who was still in a daze. He said he’s coming to pick you up” Judging from Henry’s

Jessie’s eyes darted around cyasively. “He’s back from Harriton Cry? That means when I called him this afternoon, he didn’t pick up because he was on the plane?” Thinking about how she had been drinking for no reason, Jessie felt a little

Kylie laughed when she heard this. “So, you can to the bar to drink because he didn’t answer your call?”
Jessie felt utterly embarrassed. 1think I’ve sobered up now. Un should we go wait at the entrance of the bar?” Jessie was filled with regret.
Kylie, not a fan of the smoky atmosphere in the bar, helped Jessie outside.
In a corner of the bar, Austin and Chris were drinking. When they looked up, they noticed Kylie and another girl they didn’t recognize leaving the bar.
“Kylie What’s she doing at the bar? I’ve been trying to reach her for days, and she’s not answering. I’m going to catch up to her and ask her what’s going on,” Chris said, standing up and following her. Austin followed suit.
Lately, a lot had been happening in the family, but no one had been able to reach Kylie. As a result, their mother had even fallen ill over the past few days from worry. Thinking about this, Austin’s expression darkened. They’d rather Kylie wasn’t their sister. As the two of them hurried outside, Henry had just arrived and picked up Jessie, while Kylie was heading toward her car. She had just taken a few steps when someone blocked her way.
At first, Kylie thought it was a drunk from the bar, but when she saw it was Austin and Chris, her face turned cold.
Kylie, you’re going further down the wrong path. First, you moved out of the house, and now you’re being kept by someone. Can’t you do something that we can actually be proud of? You’re coming home with me right now, Chris said as he grabbed Kylie’s hand, trying to drag her away. He was genuinely afraid that one day the media would discover their sibling relationship and expose not only her being kept but also the false accusations she made against her boyfriend. That would undoubtedly ruin his acting career.
Austin’s face was dark as he said, ‘Go home and apologize to Mom and Dad. After that, call Zach to our house. We can’t let you just be his mistress.”
Hearing them repeatedly mention her being “kepe” and insisting on an apology, even dragging Zach into it, Kylie let out a cold laugh. She twisted her wrist free from Chris’s grasp, and with her other hand, she clasped the palm of his hand.
Chris yelled in pain. “What are you doing?” Unsure of what nerve she had pressed, a sharp pain shot through him, and his vision blurred from the discomfort.
“I should be the one asking you, what do you want?” Kylie asked expressionlessly. She had always tried her best to please these two brothers. Knowing that Austin had some cervical spine issues, she personally made him an herbal pillow and event taught him some neck exercises. But Austin threw the pillow she made into the storage room without even looking at it
As for Chris, because he often stayed up late for filming, she gave him the herbal bag she had made for James, but Chris- scorned it and handed it over to the housekeeper. To Kylie, they were just ingrates who would crush someone’s heart underfoot.
Not far away, a car happened to pass by the Midnight Bar. Trevor, sitting inside the car, was slightly tipsy and had a bit of a headache. As he pressed his forehead with his index finger to relieve the pain, Zach suddenly exclaimed, “Ms. Thompson!”
Trevor looked up and saw Kylie by the roadside, with two men glaring at her in disgusi, as if she were some sort of plague they couldn’t bear to be near.
