At this point, Kylie made a call to Trevor. “Mr. Walters, I can give you daily head massages during our marriage to help with your sleep issues, but I need Mr. Walters to do me a favor.
She knew that each time she gave him a massage, it greatly improved his sleep.
“What’s the favor? Go ahead, Trevor said as he accepted the coffee from Zach.
Today, Trevor was playing golf with some friends, and it was now break time. Getting a call from Kylie was unexpected; she rarely called him on her own. He was just thinking about how to ask her for a daily massage, and now that she had called, he was relieved he didn’t have to come up with an excuse.
Kylie said. “My brother is filming a movie, and Chris is also in it. We had a conflict today, and knowing how sneaky Chris is, he’ll definitely do something bad.”
After understanding the situation, Trevor didn’t hesitate for even a second. “Okay, I’ll take care of it.”
Kylie said. “Thank you.”
After ending the call. Trevor instructed Zach, who found a quiet place to make a couple of calls.
Meanwhile, Trevor’s eyes wandered to where Henry was not far away, teaching Yara Lane how to play golf.
“Mr. Hawkins and his assistant have quite an unusual relationship, Zach remarked with a sly comment as he returned from his calls.
Yara stomped her foot playfully. “Mr. Hawkins, I’m just so clumsy”
Henry kept his hand on Yara’s, and they stood close, his eyes filled with tenderness. “Let’s practice a bit more. I’ll make sure you understand it today”
“With Mr. Hawkins as my teacher, no matter how slow I might be, I’ll work hard to learn and not embarrass my teacher,” Yara said, taking a deep breath, her cheeks puffing up cutely.
‘Despite her cute expression, her figure was undeniably stunning Zach thought. Wasn’t Henry always doting on his childhood sweetheart wife? Why has he been acting so unclear with his secretary lately? Looking at the other executives nearby, they seemed unfazed, probably because they already knew about Henry’s relationship with his secretary!
Trevor glanced over and then looked away. He looked at the message Kylie sent him on his phone. It was a “thank–you” emoji. She also mentioned adding a couple more dishes for tomorrow night’s dinner.
He wondered, What kind of feast she would make
The assistant director accepted Chris’s payment of sixty thousand dollars.
Chris went to change his clothes. Staring at the small villa across the street, he felt a bit uneasy. He thought, I was the leading man, yet I had to stay in a tiny apartment just like the rest of the crew.
“This building was apparently for temporary staff who were tidying up the estate. It wasn’t dirty and had all the basics, but it definitely didn’t match a five–star hotel.
Even though there were a few villas on the other side, it was rumored they were prepared for distinguished guests and usually remained empty. He was the leading man, but he couldnt even stay there. The director, on the other hand, did manage to get a villa!

After feeling disgruntled for a while, he changed into his costume and went out for his scene.
Actually, James didn’t have many lines; as the fourth male lead, how many scenes could he have?

He had just come downstairs and was heading to the set. The assistant director called him.
He smirked, thinking it was already taken care of. “Have you managed to get James kicked out?”
“Be honest with me, is someone backing James? Is he just living life by being an extra and a stand–in? What’s his background? Are you trying to make things difficult because you don’t like me? Chris, just because you’ve played a few lead roles, do you think you can outsmart me in this industry?” The assistant director’s angry words came through.
Chris was puzzled. “What?”
Assistant Director shouted. “Chris, you jerk!”
Where are you? I’m coming to see you now. Chris sensed something was off.
The assistant director had already stormed up to Chris and punched him. Tve been in this industry longer than you, and I’m tired of your little games! Are you trying to get your own people in here to take my spot? Let me tell you, the director is a family friend, there’s no way he’s firing me.”
Thave nothing against you, so why would I aim at you? The one I’m upset with is James!” Chris was annoyed but fortunately managed to dodge quickly, avoiding the punch aimed at his face. If it had landed on his face, he’d have to forget about showing up anywhere today.
The assistant director composed himself. “You really didn’t know?”
Chris frowned and said, “Know what?”
“I suggested to the director that we replace him, stating that James might become a liability, but the director got mad at me. He said he’s contemplating adding more scenes for James and told me not to bring nonsense to him. If anything happens to James in our crew, the director claimed he couldn’t continue in this industry! I asked him again, but he refused to elaborate, There’s surely someone supporting James. Be honest, do you know who’s backing him?” the assistant director inquired.
Chris was still puzzled. “He’s just a guy from the countryside, what kind of connections could he have? Did the director get tricked by him?”
“Do you think the director is so easy to fool? The assistant director now thought it would be smart to get on James’s good side. Who knows, maybe James will become a big star someday. It’s fortunate the director stopped him from replacing James.
“The sixty thousand dollars you gave me was just sent back!” the assistant director said angrily and stormed off.
Chris stood in the evening breeze, filled with questions.
Suddenly realizing this, he gritted his teeth and said, “You keep claiming there’s no backer, Kylie, who are you trying to fool? Is this backer protecting James or what?”
He felt the words stuck in his throat. He couldn’t get them out at all,

James didn’t respond to the mention, not because he was distant but because the butler had personally brought him to a villa. He didn’t have much with him, just a bag on his shoulder and a few shopping bags filled with clothes and shoes that Kylie had bought for him.
James was completely confused. He thought, “Wasn’t I supposed to stay in the apartment? Why did the butler enthusiastically arrange a villa for me?
“Mr. Thompson, do you find this villa satisfactory? If not, I can make other arrangements. There are three more villas available, the butler asked.
James swallowed nervously, “Um, is there some kind of mistake? I’m just the fourth male lead of the crew. I was supposed to stay in that apartment.”
“You’re James Thompson, right?” the butler confirmed with a smile.
