How does he know my uncle just won the
lottery last month?
Oh no, this guy is now stalking my life.
I immediately deleted his number and blocked
all contact.
My dad found out about my breakup and forced
me to get an internship at his company.

I swear, I didn’t do this on purpose.

In the entire building, why did I have to end up
in the same department as Billy?
During lunch break, Billy cornered me by the
pantry.
What’s wrong with this guy? He’s always trying to block my path.
“Lucy, did your family buy this internship just to see me? You must have spent a lot of money.”
Billy smiled proudly.
I ignored him, but he misinterpreted that as encouragement and continued being disgusting.
“Lucy, if you can’t forget about me, I can make some time…”
“Enough!” I yelled before he could utter mors
nonsense,
“Billy, I’m being nice to you, now use your
brain.”
I should have listened to my gut. If I wasn’t so
blind to his nice act, I would have never talked
to this loser.
“Get lost, or I’ll report you for harassment.”
When I rejected him, he got mad,
“Don’t regret it! Even if you beg me, I will never look at you twice.”
I started laughing. “Whoever regrets it is a
loser.”
After dealing with Billy, I lost my appetite.
My supervisor asked me to deliver

the secretary’s office. I immediately grabbed the
files and took the elevator to the 8th floor.
“Excuse me, where do we put the files?”
A voice to my left said impatiently, “Are you blind? Look for yourself.”
“These interns are getting worse and worse.
Who knows what backdoor they used to get into this company?”
That voice sounded familiar, and I looked up.
Tiffany, Billy’s fiancé, was slouched in her chair,
painting her nails.
She saw me and was surprised.
“What are you doing here?”
That’s what I was going to ask her. How did she
get into this company?
