Dylan laughed when he heard Noelle’s words.
Noelle didn’t know why he was laughing, so she frowned.

A short question, yet it seemed to take Dylan an immense amount of effort to hit send.

Dylan didn’t send another message, nor did Noelle linger. She simply turned off her phone, raised her hand, and flagged down a taxi.
