“Honey, why are you here?”
Emily stared at the man in surprise.
“I invited him. Don’t you want to apologize? Then explain clearly what you behind your husband’s back.”
“Claire Williams, what the hell are you doing?”
I ignored Ethan’s angry roar and pulled the man in front of Emily and Ethan.

“Don’t you two want to apologize? What’s the point of apologizing only to me? Now Emily’s husband is here too.”
“Tell us why you chose to use a known sperm donor, and an ex–lover at that.”
Emily and Ethan’s expressions changed drastically.
Emily’s husband clenched his fists, trying to control his anger. Just as Emily was anxiously trying to explain to him, he slapped her across the face.
“Was it fun lying to me? You said artificial insemination was finding your first love to have a child?”
Facing the roar from Emily’s husband, Ethan anxiously pulled Emily behind him and looked at her husband apologetically.
“Paul, I’m sorry, it’s my fault. I was soft–hearted and agreed to Emily’s request. If you want to hit someone, hit me, don’t hurt Emily.”
Hearing this, Paul sneered, “You’ve slept with her for years and it’s still not enough? You even want me to raise your child for you?”

Ethan hurriedly defended himself, “Paul, but we didn’t do anything, Emily didn’t
cheat.”
I watched this scene with amusement, my arms crossed. In the eyes of abnormal people like Ethan and Emily, as long as they didn’t have sex, it wasn’t cheating.
But Paul wasn’t like me, he wouldn’t swallow this. He gritted his teeth and punched Ethan in the face, “Didn’t cheat? Didn’t you go comfort her when she was afraid of thunder? Didn’t she come to you when we were arguing? You’re practically her second husband.”
Seeing Ethan being beaten, Emily hurriedly stood up. She slapped Paul in the face and yelled angrily, “Why are you hitting him? It’s your fault you can’t have
children.”
Paul’s eyes were bloodshot with anger, “Then why didn’t you find someone else? Did you have to find him to spite me?”
“Why would I want a stranger’s sperm? I want to find the man I love.”
I stood aside and sneered, she finally admitted it.
Paul was completely enraged by her words.
He raised his fist and punched Ethan in the face again. Seeing that a big fight was about to break out, I hurriedly walked to the door, opened it, and walked out.
Soon, all kinds of insults and the sound of chairs being thrown came from the private room.
Fortunately, one of my clients happened to know Paul, he had posted a photo with Paul and his wife on his social media, otherwise I wouldn’t have seen this good
show.
As soon as I got home, the police station called and asked me to make a statement.
Book Chapter5-
When I arrived at the police station, Ethan and his buddies all had bruises on their
faces. Ethan glared at me with fire in his eyes when he saw me, as if he wanted to
devour me alive.
Tom, afraid that he would hit me impulsively, hurriedly pulled him back and gave me a warning look.
I sneered and followed the police officer into the interrogation room.
It was already 1 a.m. when I finished making my statement. I heard that Emily was in danger of miscarriage due to the shock and had been sent to the hospital.
Ethan and his buddies were detained.
I saw Ethan again a week later. He asked me out to go through the divorce procedures.
But he drove to the villa we used to live in. I asked him suspiciously, “What’s the meaning of this?”
He said with a sullen face, “If you want a divorce, go kneel down and apologize to
Emily.”
