I smiled. “Brittany, the Walker’s aren’t going

out!”
Brittany lost her mind, broke a vase, and
came at my legs.
“Trash! If you are going to be stubborn, I will
just turn you into an invalid!”
I was held down and closed my eyes.
The pain never came.
I opened my eyes and saw Ashley in front of

Her hospital gown was soaked in blood.
“Don’t believe Brad, he’s just a fraud! He’s
not a Walker.”
“If you want to hurt Ethan, you have to go
through me!”
Brittany noticed the cuts on Ashley.
Brad yanked Ashley and slapped her.
“Don’t act like a fool! I’m going to tell my
brother about you!”
“Don’t get jealous of your sister, he’s just
hanging out in the hospital. It’s obvious!”
Ashley spat out blood.
The bodyguard dragged her into another
room.
I wanted to help when Brittany came down
with the vase.
She screamed, “I knew it. Both of you are
lying to me!”
Blood poured from me, and I was fading fast.
Brittany grabbed my hand.
“Do you know what happens if you hurt a
Walker?”
“If they get hurt, those who hurt them will be
killed. I can’t help you!”
She grabbed a scalpel and stabbed my wrist.
I screamed, “If my family finds out, you are
going to die!”

Brad kicked me in the stomach.
“Ethan, you are going to die and you think
they care. I’m teaching you how to respect
people!”
He stabbed my tendons and kicked me.
Pain went through me, but I couldn’t get
away.
The bodyguard pinned me.
I gave up and waited for death.
Then, the door opened and Jake came inside
with a group of people.
“What are you doing?”
He looked at me.
I was dirty, and blood covered my face.
Jake started to get close, but the bodyguard
blocked him.
The bodyguard bowed, “Ethan, what are you doing here?”
“Are you okay? I can get a doctor for you!”
Jake glared at him and pointed to me, “Who’s
that?”
Chapter 2
The bodyguard’s eyes flickered with panic,
but he quickly recovered.
“That’s just some nobody, Mr. Walker. He
was disrespectful to the other, Mr. Walker. I
am teaching him a lesson! It’s not important
to you, sir.”
Jake didn’t seem convinced, but he still took
a step closer to get a better look.
The bodyguard boldly stepped in front of him,
blocking him again.
Jake’s expression darkened.
I knew he hated people who acted without
permission.
The Walkers had a lot of assets in the city,
and a lot of people wanted to get their hands
on them.
I wasn’t allowed to go out alone, and all my

One of the tutors felt sorry for me and
decided to take me out.
He took me to a crowded theme park and
bought me cotton candy.
He had forgotten the warning when he was
hired.
The cotton candy had been poisoned, and I
had been kidnapped.
My parents and Jake went crazy.
Even after finding me, I almost died.
Jake was about to explode, but Brittany
stepped in, smiling.
“Mr. Walker is probably busy and only wants
to talk to important people, he wouldn’t be in
a place like this. The bodyguard is training his
