Chapter 12
Hunter’s POV
As she yelled, the rolling of her lips made those inviting lips of hers more irresistible, all my defenses became defeated, as I moved closer the feeling became more tense.
I reached out and gently lifted her chin and locked my lips to hers, I could feel the tension rising in her.
She pulled out and breathed heavily as she left me sitting on the desk.
I watched Eden vacate the oflice complex, walking as fast as she could with her hips. whining seductively.
Still sitting on the desk, I desire more of those succulents lips of hers.
Her scent still hover in the air, as I perceived every bit of it the desire became more ignited.
I have longed to taste those lips since before now but all attempts were abortive.
Twenty eight year old, five foot six Eden O’Leary, possesses a charming and irresistible deep gray eyes with long mahogany hair, she is a natural caregiver, she is thick and
cute.
When she was first introduced to me as my assistant, her physique and appearance were breathtaking.
I was all crude and mean towards her just to gain dominance which I did, I could see how she always trembled at my presence.
As time passed I became more attached to her to the point that I made her schedules so tight that she always had to be around me.
I found myself thinking more about her than my fiance.
I flipped through the pages of my heart and found more affection and desire for Eden than Alexis’s.
Alexis’s parents and mine had been friends for ages and my Mom deemed it fit that I get married to Alexis to seal their friendship.
Because her parents are major shareholders in the company.
To the point that my mom arranged an engagement without my knowledge.
Chapter 12
I was out with my friends when my mom called me to meet her at the house, she sounded urgent so I left my friends and headed home.
She welcomed me with a ring, announcing to me that it’s the night of my engagement to Alexis.
Previously she had mentioned it but I never thought she would go to this extent.
My dad to was totally against it, he told her to allow us choose our partners.
In the midst of me trying to make my mom understand that I don’t love Alexis in that manner.Alexis stepped into the house with her family that were invited for dinner by
my mom.
1 frowned at my Mom.
We greeted each other and exchanged pleasantries..
We all moved to the dinning room to eat, the proposal happened, Alexis seems to not be surprised, it was like she had full knowledge of the arranged engagement.
I wasn’t surprised she did, she has no mind of her own, whatsoever her parents said to do that she will.
My mom would sometimes buy gifts for me to gift Alexis, she was practically the force behind the relationship.
Alexis is just in this too because of the business and what I have to offer obviously.
My heart had never burned with desire for Alexis as it is doing right now for Eden.
“Sir?” Sam called tapping on my shoulders.
“Hi…Sam,” I snapped out of Eden’s world.
“Is everything ok?” she asked concerned.
“Yes Sam everything is perfectly fine” I answered, expressing with my hand.
“But y did you ask?” I curiously enquired
“I have been standing for some minutes but you didn’t even notice my presence, It was after several calls that you noticed.” she explained
“It seems like something is bothering you because you were wallowing in deep ocean of thought that might drawn you,” she added

“Let me be your lifeguard,” she teased with smile tugged on her lips
“No but on a more serious note, I could be of help if you want to talk about it,” she reassured.
“I have come to remind you of your meeting in few minutes.”
“Okay. Thank you,” I replied.
All through the meeting I wished for it to end so that I can dwell immensely in the thought of my moment with Eden,
After the meeting I went straight to the penthouse, I was hoping to see Eden preparing dinner, but my hope was cut short when I noticed her absent.
She might be on her way I thought because I came back earlier than we used to.
I had a quick shower, thinking that by the time I’m out Eden will be here.
Slide into my favorite pajamas which I wear on a very good day and pick up my phone to call her but then decide not to, on a second thought.
I walked into the kitchen to get a cup of coffee, everything in there reminds me of her, she is a very organized person, the whole place looks so organized and sparkling clean.
I remembered how she pays attention to details while cleaning the house, though I have told her times without numbers to live the house cleaning for the servants but she will always say she likes cleaning her mess.
She had on many occasions cleaned my mess including the intentional ones.
After a while I came out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee. I went into the bedroom and sat on the edge of the bed placing the cup of coffee on a bedside table.
I smiled with every thought of Eden, the tenderness of her juicy lips still lurking around my lips.
Eden was all I could think of right now, I traced the cup of coffee by the side and took a sip, her response to my touch earlier was so naive I thought and let out a thin grin.
The innocence on her lips was worth dying for.
So many times I have fought the feelings of desire and affection I feel for her, this might not be acceptable by my mom but then my defenses failed me this time, a part of fear what the society will say and how this act of mine might affect the company,

But then my heart is glad that my defenses falled me it worth trying
How is she feeling about it? Does she feel the same way as I do?Will she return to the office? Why is she not here for dinner? What if there is no chance for me and her?
My mood switched with a frown on my face.
