It’s 6am in the morning. 1 just rounded up my gym session. I went to the kitchen to get a bottle of water.
It was Samantha that was in the kitchen instead of Eden.
“Good morning Mr Hunter,” she greeted.
“Hi Samantha, good morning and how was your night?” I replied, looking around to see it Eden was there too.
“Fine, thank you.”
“Hope you’re fine too?”
“I’ve been meaning to ask what you would like for breakfast?” she enquired with a smile.
“Where’s Eden?”
“Eden would not be at work today, I had asked her to take the day off so that we could assess how good I have learned for the past weeks,” she explained, moving randomly in
kitchen.
“Oh!.” I muttered with my brows raised up.
“A cup of coffee and cream is good,” I said in resignation.

“Are you daft?” I yelled and left with the bottle of water in my hand.
Threw the bottle of water on the couch, and took my bath.
I picked my phone and called Samantha into the bedroom.
“Sir, here I am,” she reported.
I was standing with a tie in my hands when she came in.
“Are you blind, can’t you see that am holding a tie,”
She reached for the tie with a shivering hand.
And struggled with the knotting of the tie.
I snatched the tie out of her hands angrily.

“What have you been learning, that you cannot knot a tie? You’re such an incompetent person.” I shouted unbuttoning my shirt.

wardrobe for a change of dress. As much as I hate wearing any dress other
than a suit to work, right now I had no choice but to

We got to work at around eight thirty am.
I was about to step into my office when Samantha called
“Sir, you’re supposed to be at the morning briefing today,” she said in a breaking tone.
“What time is the briefing?”
“Eight am sir” she muttered in fear.
“And it’s now that you’re telling me?” I sounded so loud inviting the attention of passersby.

“Eden has submitted her resignation letter for a month now and she is due to go,” he repeated
“No there’s an agreement in her signed contract that says she has to look for a replacement before she can go which she is yet to, because Sam is still not qualified for the job,”
“So Eden’s resignation will still remain pending until Sam fits in properly,” I declared.

I went into my office feeling so uneasy. I moved randomly in the office and stood in

Time passed at the office with no Eden and nothing right was done.
The whole day has been a mess
I left the office and asked my driver to stop by Eden’s place.
1 had never been to her side before I knew the location because I hired the agent that got her the house and specifically gave him the location that is very close to the penthouse.
It was Trevor that showed up at the door.
