Eden’s POV
With the feeling of excitement, I packed my desk and headed straight into his office.
“Hi, sir it’s past closing hours and I can see you’re still busy,”
“Yes Eden, I have a lot on my table today,”
“I would like to spare more time at work to see what I can achieve,” he explained, taking his gaze away from the computer on
his desk.
“Alright then, I will stay and help out or better still we can take some of it to the penthouse,” I suggested.
“Yea let’s see what we will achieve, then we can take the rest to the house,” he replied with a flash of smile on his face.
Samantha walked into the space.
“Is there anything you would like me to do?” she asked.
Oh…uhmm….
“No, Eden and myself will handle it, just go home and relax,” he said to her.
Alright then, thank you,”
“Good night,” she wished us.
“Night, Sam,” we chorused.
The office complex was becoming free of people, there were just a few people around.
We focused on the work at hand.
The complex became quieter with no sound of anyone around, all we could hear was the distant sound of sirens and the whistling of air coming from the outside.
I was still buried into the work in my hand, when I felt a hand gently lifting my head up away from the work.
His other hand gradually took the computer off my lap and pulled me up from the seat.
His hand reached for my waist and he dragged me into his embrace
I took a deep breath sniffing the whole of him into my lungs.
His watery lips rolled on my neck with his breath leaving a stamp on my neck, he reached his lips to mine.
Shiver came gushing down my spine, my lips inarguably gave into his kiss he gently sucked my lower lip in his mouth.
We kissed passionately, the whole atmosphere was filled up with desires.
“What are you doing?” I whispered into his ear.
He reached out for the lips.
“What does it look like I’m doing?” he replied into my mouth.

“I wish to.” I whispered
“There’s no way I’m agreeing to this.”
“Besides you need to make things right with Miss Quinn you heard what your mom said the last time,” I explained.
“Let’s keep it calm as it is for peace, and see what nature has in store for us, I’m sure the universe has a way of making things right,” I smiled into his face.
“You know, you have your own way around things,” he said with a gentle pull on my cheek.
“I blinked my eyes slowly and let out a smile,”
“It’s getting late Mr.boss let’s get going.”
“We should take the rest of the work to the penthouse and finish up through the night”
“We will be going for Inez’s bridal shopping tomorrow.”
“So I will not be available for it tomorrow.” I informed him
“Can I come with you,”
“Too?” My eyes opened wide in awe..
“To the bridal shopping.”
“No, is just the girls,”
“Okay,” he said in agreement.
“It’s a few minutes past eight pm let’s get going, remember the driver had left earlier, and I wouldn’t like you driving in the dark.”
We cleared the desk and walked out of the office complex to the parking lot.
“Good night sir, ma’am,” the security at the gate waved.
“Good night.”
At the penthouse I fixed us something light and we refreshed and got back to work.
We concluded at exactly fifteen minutes past eleven pm and headed to bed.
We cuddled and the night became darker.
“Good morning,sweet girl,”
He woke me up with a tray in his hands.
“Hey, good morning, you made breakfast?”
“I hope this one is good than the last time,” he whispered while placing the tray beside me on the bed,”
