Eden’s POV
We stood at the front of the restaurant and scanned through the premises but there wasn’t even a glimpse of him.
Ruby and Inez gaze at me simultaneously.
“Start explaining, first it was the lovey dovey act in the office, then you in his shirt and now he is stalking you,” Ruby cleared the silence.
“Trevor has complained to me about how your boss acts towards him whenever he’s with you,” Inez winced.
“So ma’am, spit it out already, before I force those words out of you, Inez threatened.
“Okay fine I will tell you,” I gave in, lifting both my hands up.
“Now I know that look on your face and I haven’t seen it for like ages now, till today and this minute,”
I felt a lump forming in my throat, it’s more like the words I don’t want to spit out are right now becoming a cancer in my
throat.
I always want to share my feelings for my boss and how it feels being around him with someone, but whenever I think of what people will say about it, it gets me worried.
So I kept everything to myself. But right now I think it’s the perfect time to voice it out. I tilted my head in thought.
“Okayyyy let’s go into the car.” We went into the car.
“Kick the car let’s go.” I said after some minutes of silence in the car.
“Go where?”
“We are waiting to hear what you have to say, the moment you speak out will determine when we leave here.”
“Okay, me and my boss are kinda close now,” with my hand covering my face halfway.
“You mean, you and your boss are…?” Ruby asked with her eyes wide open.
“Yes yes yes, you don’t need to stress it Ruby,”
“But believe me is just that and nothing serious,”
“It might be nothing serious to you and your thoughts but it’s written all over the both of you that is something really serious like it’s screaming loud to us the spectators,” Ruby explained.
“We all could still see his obsession over you, just imagine what happened in there, who pays the bill and vanishes?”
We talked and talked all day, at exactly six pm Ruby and Inez dropped me by my apartment and left for there.
I went into the apartment and lit up the room.
“Jeezzz,” I was startled.
“How did you get in?”
“Jeezzz, you startled me,”

“It took you so long to return so I figured to wait for you at your place,”
“You still haven’t answered my question, how did you get into my apartment?”
“Aren’t you happy that I’m here?”
“Come and sit, jist me how did your day go,” a grin played at the corner of his mouth.

“How did you know? Did you follow us to the mall or rather did you hire a private investigator to monitor my moves?” I asked a whole lot of questions curiously.

“Why were you at the same restadrant as us during lunch? And why didn’t you wait for us to say thank you after sorting our lunch bills,

“Your actions there made Inez and Ruby asked a whole lot of questions that I had no other option than to tell them about
“It was coincidence that we ended up in the same restaurant during lunchtime and I left because I don’t want you coming to say thank you,”
“You know how your gender can be when it comes to things like that,” he explained.
“And plus I don’t see anything writing them knowing about us,”
My eyes opened wide in shock at the sound of that.

“I can’t remember you to be the type that will choose restaurant foods over home made meals,”
I let out an audible sigh and furrowed my brow in concentration to hear what he had to say about his sudden interest in restaurant meals over homemade.

“You look so exhausted, why not go in and freshen up, while I stay here and wait for you my sweet girl,” he tapped a finger
on my nose.
I went into the and freshened up. I walked into the sitting room and met Hunter on the same spot.
“Why aren’t you in your nighties? Or are you going somewhere?”
“I was thinking you will like us to go to the penthouse together,

“I don’t have anything clothing you can fit into,
“My skin fit me perfectly,” he muttered.
What! I raised my eyebrows in disbelief.
“Th…that’s you staying naked,” I stammered with wide spread eyes.

He was refreshed, by the time he came out dinner was ready.
