Eden’s POV
I struggled and opened my eyes and found him right beside me staring into my eyes.
“Hey?! Good morning.
“Morning beautiful.”
“Did you sleep at all?”
“You look gorgeous while you sleep, I wouldn’t have missed that view for nothing,” a smile played on his face.
“How are you feeling?”
“I feel better just a slight cramp and headache.”
I sniffed and asked, “what’s that smell?”
“What smell?” He sniffed jokingly.
He shifted a little revealing the tray laying by the side.
*I made scrambled eggs and toasted bread, with hot chocolate drink for you,”
“You did?”
“Yes I did,”
“I wish I can make something else,”
“This is just fine, don’t over pamper me,”
“I’m not complaining.”
He kept the tray for me on the bed and asked me to eat.
I ate every bit of what was before me with joy and desire swelling within me.
Desire lingered in the air and my heart yearns for more of him.
It was all a bed of roses.
My cheek reddened and I smiled with a fingernail in my mouth and my elbow on the desk.
Samantha clapped to my face.
“Wake up,”
“Ugh! You startled me,”
“Was I sleeping?”

“Was I day dreaming?”
“Forget the questions, just give me the full jist,”
“Who is the lucky guy that is making butterflies fly in your belly incontroll
– obvious his thoughts alone tickles you.
“What are you talking about?”
“See you blushing, when I mentioned a guy.
She pointed at me.
Just spit it out already,”
“Okay, yes I admit it that there’s a man,”
“But I’m not sure it’s love”
“I know love when I see one and what I’m seeing is love, love in capitals,”
“So, who is the guy? Do I know him? Have I met him before?”
“I will answer all those at the right time but for now let’s keep it anonymous because I want to be sure that he feels the same way for me,”
“Okay, I understand, but just know that whenever you’re ready to unveil who ever he is, I will be right here waiting.”
“I know, you’re always here,”
We both laughed at the sound of that.
“Good day ladies,”
“Miss Eden I have a package for you,”
“For me?”
“Yes ma’am.”
“Sign here,”
“Okay,” I signed and he handed over the package to me.
Samantha kept blushing and staring at me all through,
“What?!”
“Nothing, what’s in there and who sent them?”
“Let me unpack it first,”
“Okay, do that fast,”

“It’s lunchtime, sweet girl, she read the note with her eyes going through it as though she was searching for something else.
I snatched the note away from her hand, hoping the sender’s name isn’t written on it.
My face covered in smiles as I noticed the name of the sender wasn’t in it and I’m certain that was what Sam was looking for.
“This must be from our anonymous and phenomenal lover,”
I just smiled, as Sam read the notes the right voice rang in my cars and it sent a cold shiver down my spine.
“You are blushing already, what’s in the pack?”

“This person most has been here for a long time for him to have known you faves,”
“Now you’re beginning to make me have a second thought on tree love,”
“But hell no, no, no,” she swung a finger with every word she uttered.
“On a more serious note honey, I think, no what am I even saying I know, that whosoever this lover is? He is a good one,”
“How would you just conclude that? What if I’m the one falling head over heels for him? What if the feeling isn’t mutual What if?”
“Enough with the what ifs ma’am, if there’s one thing I’m sure of is that you’re every man’s dream as a woman, and any responsible man out there will recognize a good woman when he sees one and fall flat to the ground for her,”
“You are a good woman and I’m sure you will attract a responsible man,”
“Enough of the hypes, Miss hyper,”
“Okay ma’am, but I cannot help but say the truth all the time,”
“You always have something to say, don’t you ever run out of words?”
“Maybe the words choose to love me that they always run their way to me,”
“You’re funny, go back to your seat,”
“It’s lunchtime ma’am,” she said looking at me with a funny facial expression.
“Let us without a man to get lunch for us, go get it ourselves,” she teased.
“Oh no, you don’t need to go get the lunch, this is to much for me, we can share,”
“Hope as we are sharing the food, we can also share the man?”
“You must be silly, to think that you can share my man,”
I jealously guide what I love for your information and you wouldn’t want to taste the wrath of my jealousy,”
“See who is talking about wrath, you that cannot even hurt an insect,” she muttered.
“Enough of talking, eat it almost past lunchtime and we have a mireting to attend to.”
We ate and jisted in–between the meal, we laughed as the sound of our laughter echoed in the space.
Chapter 45
We finished eating and cleared the space.
“Bye and thanks to our anonymous boyfriend.”
“You know you shouldn’t get used to referring to my boyfriend as ours, or would you rather you drag a boyfriend with your
bow
“Noted ma’am, I will think about it,” she winked playfully and walked to her seat.
I concluded some work and picked up a file and headed to Mr Hunter’s office.
“Good day sir.” I greeted him.

“You sound surprised or ain’t you my boss?”
“Yes,”
“Employees address their bosses as sir,”
He chuckled.
And stood up from where he was sitting and walked closer to me
“But this boss has fallen head over heels in love with this employee standing in front of him,” he whispered into my ext
I swallowed my spit hardly, as his words sank into my soul.
“I love you Eden,” he added
