“Right now if losing my fame and wealth will buy me a ticket to be with Eden for life, then so be it,” I added.

“Isn’t it obvious?” I took a sip of wine from my refilled glass.
My gaze landed on Eden and Devor stepping onto the dance floor, Eden was moving her body to the rhythm of the music and Trevor’s hand was evenly wrapped around her waist.
I felt a dagger in my heart and liquid of pain welled up in my eyes.
Andrew noticed my distraction and traced my gaze to the dance floor.

We stood up and I walked toward the dance floor, with anger welling up in me.

By the time I got closer. Trevor held her hand tightly and stepped forward the moment he noticed my presence.
My hand became itchy, I felt like giving him a lifetime punch in the face, I fought the feelings of violence because deep down I know that violence will do me more harm than good in taking Eden fat from me.
I felt Andrew’s hand painting my back, Eden was breathing heavily. I’m sure she saw the intensity of anger I walked with while I was approaching them.

We sat quietly in the car for some time, my heart pounding fast in my chest, I sought solace in the silence.
A wave of calm swept in me when I saw Eden coming out from a car parked a few miles away from us.
“Is this the reason you stopped the car?” Andrew asked, breaking the silence.
Andrew had no idea why I stopped the car, he had just been a caring friend by staying with me in the car without knowing why 1 stopped, but when he saw Eden walk into the apartment he got it.
We were Andrew’s car, so Eden would not know that I was the one there.
“What now?” Andrew asked

I started the car and drove down to the penthouse house which was a minute ride from Eden’s apartment.
We went into the penthouse, I brought my phone out and saw a lot of missed calls from my mom and Alexis, the two women making my love life miserable, I thought.
I have so many messages which I’m not ready to attend to right now.
I went straight into the kitchen for a bottle of water and headed straight into the bedroom while Andrew went into the quess room. I quickly freshened up and came into the living space. I met Andrew focused on television.

“I will, I need a cup
of coffee,” he said.

“Yes please.”
He went into the kids and came out with two ceramic cups filled with coffee.
“Thank you,” I said as he dropped the cup of coffee on the table beside me.
With every sip of the coffee I took. Eden was all over my head.
“You need to go and rest, you know tomorrow is a big day.” Andrew interrupted my thoughts.
“Big day What is happening tomorrow?” asked with zero clue.
