Sam moved aside, permitting him to walk in..
“Good evening sir.” Sam greeted him.
1 looked at her with much disbelief, it’s obvious that she invited him over.
“Evening Sam,” he replied, his gaze was fixed on me as he talked.
I quietly looked at him. Sam hit me with her body. I guess she wants to tell me that I was giving an awkward vibe,
I acted like I didn’t feel anything
“Why are you?” I asked into his face.
“I miss you Eden,” he said leaning to hug me.
1 dodged the hug. “You coming here might add fuel to an already flaming fire, what if someone sees you while you’re walking in here,”
“I made sure
no one saw me,” he said with so much assurance.
I chuckled, “Am I suppose to believe that?”
“You remember that day at the office, I told you I heard footsteps but you talked me into believing that I was just been. sensitive to the environment, and now a photo from that day circulating the media and you want me to believe you now?” I said with constant points at him.
Tears slowly run down my cheek.
“Eden please trust me,” he pleaded.
“The last time I trust you what happened,huh? It landed us into this great mess we are swimming in “I said, my voice shaking with emotion.
“My life is under so much threat at the moment and my career to, this whole thing is escalating, your mom had call me to warn me, so please you should stay in your lean while I stay at mine”

“Nevermind,” I shove inoff.
“I promise you, I will fix things right, with both my mom and Alexis,”
“Don’t bother doing that, just go ahead with you wedding to….”
I mumbled the rest of the words in his mouth, he gently sucked my lips and my adrenaline came rushing down, for a moment I kissed him back and sudden pull from it.
“Eden. I know you missed me to please don’t deny us the experience of love,” he pleaded softly.
A part of me wants him to myself, but the fear in me supersede whatever it is that I’m feeling for him.

I shook my head, feeling a mix of sadness and frustration. “You’re not listening. Hunter. I don’t want to work through it with you. I want you to leave me alone”
