Ava had just managed to get back on her feet when she stumbled and fell straight
into the swimming pool.
Lucas was about to jump in to save her, but when he saw the woman, his eyes.

The woman grabbed Ava and publicly humiliated her.

The woman, dripping wet, stomped on Ava, who had just resurfaced from the
water.
She ground her heel into Ava’s abdomen, her eyes filled with malice as she stared

the bloodstained dress.
“So, this is where you’re carrying my husband’s child? You’re all going to pay a

“I did my research–Lucas has a low sperm count. Without IVF, the chances of him
getting someone pregnant are slim!”
“So, you decided to use my husband’s money and sperm to play mistress for this

Lucas broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing this.
All eyes turned to him, and the mocking laughter grew louder, like thunder that

But Ava, beaten and kicked by the woman, curled up on the ground like a pile of
mud, occasionally coughing up blood.
Under the woman’s relentless pressure, Ava had no choice but to

“I… I didn’t know the old man had a wife! Please, stop hitting me!”
“I’m innocent. I didn’t even want the old man. It’s Lucas who couldn’t satisfy me.”
“After all those times, he never once performed, so I had to lie and tell him I was
using some special medicine.”

“Why are you only blaming me? I became a mistress because they used me and

Someone in the crowd even spoke up to defend Ava.

But Mrs. Taylor quickly shot them down with a cold laugh.
“Not easy? How about you give her to your husband then?”
Lucas glared at Ava with pure hatred. As soon as the woman let go of Ava, he rushed
over like a crazed beast.
