lot of gifts, as well.
He held one gift out, and said seriously.

I looked at the gift, and knew that it was

It was just a shame, that Nick didn’t deserve it.
So I told than everything. His smile slowly disappeared, and then he grabbed his phone,
ready to make a call.
“If it wasn’t for you, that Nick would’ve been
fired a long time ago. He’s always making
mistakes, and now he’s bullying you. I’m going
to…”
“Wait.” I stopped him.
Ethan looked confused. I smiled and pointed at
the gift, “You don’t need to give him that, But
we don’t need to fire him yet.”
Three minutes ago, a friend had told me that
Nick was saying that I had dumped him for a
rich guy. And that he had been working so hard,

He was just spreading rumors about me,
Nick had even sent me a new text, with a
picture of himself at work, to make me jealous,
I didn’t want to start anything. I just wanted to leave, and pretend we never met.

I decided to wait and see, but I had to go to the

Nick’s face fell, and the employees around him started gossiping.
“Yeah, they said that the CEO’s daughter is
into him, but we don’t even know who she is.”
“Do you think the rumors are all fake?”

I turned and walked inside. Ethan had told
everyone that I could come to his office directly.
Nick looked confused and followed me.

Just as I was about to push open the CEO’s office door, Gia opened the door. Her face was all mopey until she saw me, and then suddenly turned hostile.
“What are you doing here?” Gia snapped, “Who do you think you are?”
“What’s it to you? Who are you?”
I didn’t like Gia from the first moment I met her. So, I also had no intention of being nice to her.
Gia was still acting tough. She didn’t see Nick hiding behind the corner, so she flipped her hair, and said mysteriously, “My last name is ‘Gu.‘ Who do you think I am?”
That’s all she said, then turned around and
