“Your father even hopes Mel will marry Trevor, so we need to handle today’s incident well. We can’t give anyone a chance to use it against Mel. As for Kylie, once she apologizes and behaves, we’ll send her abroad with some money, Julie added.
“Is Trevor interested in Mel?” Chris asked, surprised and excited at the thought of a connection with the Walters family, which could give him an edge in the entertainment industry.
Julie, recalling Trevor’s indifferent attitude towards Mel, was about to say that Trevor hadn’t shown interest yet, but then she thought about his high social standing and naturally arrogant demeanor. She nodded and said, “Mel is exceptional in every way, he’ll come to appreciate her.”

med to Starlit Villa at half past eleven at night. The first floor was lit. She tiptoed upstairs, gently opened her bedroom door, took a shower, and lay on the bed, browsing her phone.
Julie had sent her a WhatsApp message earlier, demanding an apology to the Lampard family and promising to find a way to send her abroad. It seemed they had worn away any familial affection Kylie had for them.
A few minutes later, just as she was about to turn off the light and sleep, she felt thirsty and went downstairs with her cup.

“Yes, it’s herbal tea, Trevor replied.
Do you have work to finish?” Kylie initially wanted to warn him that herbal tea could affect his sleep but then thought better of it considering he must know what to drink and what to avoid before bed. She changed the subject instead.
Trevor’s deep eyes fixed on Kylie. “There are indeed some matters to attend to.”

Kyle nodded, “Well, I won’t keep you up then. Goodnight.” She carried her cup upstairs. Just as she was two steps away: reaching the second floor, Trevor called out to her.
“Is there nothing you want to discuss! Trevor held his cup of herbal tea in one hand and casually slipped the other into his pocket. He looked at Kylie, thinking if she asked for his help now, he would lend a hand for Noreen’s sake.
Surprised, Kylie smiled and said, “I won’t be able to visit Noreen early tomorrow, but I’ll go to the hospital in the afternoon. By the way, just a friendly reminder, drinking herbal tea at night can really mess with your sleep.” With that, she continued up the last two steps and walked back to her room without looking back.
Trevor, who was left standing there, frowned slightly, sensing Kylle’s calm and composed demeanor as if nothing had happened. Had he not seen her vulnerable side when she was ill and in tears, he would have thought her strong enough to refuse anyone’s help.
He shifted his gaze to the cup in his hand. The aroma of the herbal tea filled the air. He indeed had trouble sleeping, and the herbal tea was just a way to soothe his restlessness.
After setting down the cup, he headed upstairs, too. Just as he was about to enter his room. Kylie’s door opened, and a face that was both innocent and seductive peeked out.
Trevor’s eyes rested on Kylie for a few seconds as he thought, ‘Now she’s going to ask for my help, right? She was pretending not to care earlier, probably just playing hard to get
“Mr. Walters, wait a moment,” Kylie said and then retreated back into her room.
Trevor’s eyebrows lifted imperceptibly. He was curious about how she would ask for his assistance.
