Kylie turned to Trevor, who just asked her to wait.

Trevor watched Kylie go upstairs and then sat back on the sofa.
He shifted his gaze to the blanket lying on the carpet.

In the morning, Kylie went downstairs to make breakfast.
She found some milk in the fridge and heated it up. Then she fried an egg and some ham to make a sandwich with the toast. While she was cooking, Trevor walked downstairs dressed in casual clothes.

An hour later, the two of them arrived at the hospital.
Grant had already finished the paperwork for the discharge.

Kylie was sitting in the front passenger seat, looked outside, and didn’t find a bus stop nearby. It was already nine in the morning. She knew Trevor was busy so she said, “You can drop the off here. I’ll find a taxi on Uber.”
Trevor glanced at Kylie. There aren’t many cars nearby. I’ll give you a ride.”
Kylie didn’t hesitate anymore. “Thanks a lot. Trevor. Could you drop me off at the Vintage Market?”
Getting a taxi here was indeed challenging. She had promised Liam she would finish the restoration of two antique paintings. She had been quite busy recently so she was already behind schedule.
When Trevor heard her mention the Vintage Market, he just raised his eyebrow but he didn’t ask her why. After all, what she wanted to do was none of his business.
There was no need for him to be too curious about her things.
Suddenly, Kylie’s phone rang

The person who helped her clarify everything on Instagram today was Ann. Ann and she went to the same college.

She thought Kylie was probably with some old man right now, doing dirty things to please him so she didn’t have time to answer her phone.
Julie frowned deeply. “I’m going to call Amanda and find out how she’s been teaching Kylie. How could Kylie find a sugar daddy and stoop to being a mistress? My dear daughter is on an utterly wrong path in life because of her!”
