Chapter 95
Kylie thought. Didn’t I already extend my hand to show him the answer?”
“Keep drinking!” She finished speaking, then lifted the glass to take another gulp. But before she could, Trevor’s hand ca hers–his fingers easily enveloping her hand. His palm felt hot.
Kylie, a little dulled from the alcohol, didn’t notice much. She took the chance to act out, fueled by her drunken state. “L go! Don’t think I’m scared of you just because you always look so cold. Let me tell you something–I can fight.”
Trevor couldn’t help but chuckle. The drunk Kylie acted like a little kid throwing a tantrum over not getting candy. She threw in some complaints about him.
Always looking cold—that was accurate. After all, he had long mastered the art of keeping his emotions hidden.
“Okay, you’ve had enough. You can’t keep drinking.” he said patiently, his voice unusually soft and gentle.
But Kylie, with alcohol fueling her, wasn’t in the mood to listen. She squinted at Trevor, and in her hazy vision, his face seemed to morph. “Why did you get so ugly!”
Trevor’s face darkened instantly. Ugly? He had never once associated that word with himself.
“Think again,” he said in a low, smooth voice. “Who’s ugly?”
Kylie was puzzled. “Of course it’s you! Who else could it be? Wait a second. I’ll get my phone and find a plastic surgeon for you. Your forehead eyes are just too ugly. They need to go. Once they’re gone, you’ll look better.”
She thought. If I’d gone to med school, I wouldn’t even need anyone’s help. I could’ve handled the surgery myself. Such a shame. So ugly! Honestly, if it weren’t for those extra eyes, Trevor would actually be quite handsome.
Trevor rolled his eyes and couldn’t help but smirk, aware that she was completely hammered now.
Just as Kylie stood up, she felt the world spun. She lost her balance and flopped right down onto the floor.
She half–lay on the chair, mumbling incoherently. “Why did I end up in bed so fast? Fine, I’ll sleep. But don’t forget to see that plastic surgeon. Those eyes on your forehead will scare off all the girls. Seriously, they’re so ugly!”
With that, she promptly fell asleep, curling up on the chair like a well–behaved child. Except, of course, she was sleeping in the wrong place.
For the first time, Trevor found himself in such an odd situation. No one had ever dared to act t in front of him. In fact, even when they did drink too much, they still wouldn’t misbehave.
this way after getting drunk
Kylie was the first. And she was also the first to seriously suggest that he get plastic surgery. Who would ever believe that?
He walked over and scooped her up effortlessly. She was light. As soon as he lifted her, she nestled into more comfortable position and continued to sleep, her hands resting on his chest. Not satisfied with just resting, she even gave his chest a little
squeeze.
“My bed’s too hard… 1 need a new mattress, she muttered, her age approaching, and her voice suddenly filled with annoyance. “Definitely need a new one…
Trevor’s eyes darkened with an unspoken frustration. He stared at her for a moment. “Do you have any idea what you’ve been touching
“Keep this up, and I’ll make you regret it, he muttered under his breath.
But his warning went unheard–Kylic was still sleeping peacefully, completely unaware.

After carrying her upstairs and placing her on the bed, Trevor was about to leave. He needed a cold shower. The whole touching and cuddling had definitely stirred something in him. But just as he turned to go, Kylie grabbed his hand again.
“Don’t go.” she murmured.
Trevor raised an eyebrow, looking down at her. “Are you really drunk, or are you pretending?”
Kylie opened her blurry eyes, trying to focus on him but failing. The figure in front of her seemed to be shrouded in mist. Yet, somewhere deep inside, she sensed danger–an unknown, unfamiliar threat.
It felt like she had drifted into a dream, trapped in the betrayal of someone close.
“Craig Fraley…” she murmured.
At the mention of the name, Trevor’s expression turned cold, his dark eyes filled with disdain. That jerk? She still has him on her mind?” he thought.
“Get lost… she muttered.
And with that, the hand that had been holding onto him released its grip.
Trevor’s lips tightened into a thin line. He thought, ‘She has been all handsy just moments ago, and now she wants me gone?”
“Go far away… Kylie added, as if telling Craig to leave wasn’t enough.
She never wanted to see him again. The thought of him made her feel sick. Wasted years of youth, wasted on Craig. Now, whenever she thought back, her heart still ached–not because of him, but because of how much of her youth she wasted. Back then, there had been other boys who caught her eye. Even the class valedictorian had once confessed to her. Such a
waste…
Trevor’s face was now icy cold. His lips twisted into a grim smile. “You should’ve stayed on the floor to sober up. Maybe that would clear your mind of all this garbage.”
With that, Trevor felt a surprising sense of relief. He yanked the blanket she had kicked aside, tossing it back onto her with a touch more force than necessary, before striding out of the room.
When Kylie woke up the next morning, her head throbbed.)
The aftermath of the alcohol made her instantly regret drinking Worse, she had blacked out. She vaguely recalled Trevor telling her not to drink again. She wondered, ‘What did I say to him in return?”
She rubbed her temples. “Crap, I can’t remember. I didn’t do anything stupid last night, did I? I am a person of good character, so my drinking behavior should be decent too, right?”
Convinced she hadn’t caused any trouble, she confidently walked out of her room–only to bump into Trevor, who was just stepping out of his.
*Morning. Kylie greeted, a bit sheepishly, sensing that something was amiss.
She thought, Otherwise, why would Trevor look at me with that cold, almost resentful gaze, as if he had suffered somehow?
Trevor slightly raised an eyebrow. “Sobered up?”
He didn’t ask if she’d slept well, but if the alcohol had worn off. Kylie sighed inwardly, ‘Apparently, I can’t have both good character and good drinking habits.
“So, after I got drunk last night, I just went straight to bed, right? Didn’t give you any trouble, did I?” she asked cautiously. “Trouble? No, no trouble at all. But there was some injury.” Trevor’s voice was flat.

“I need to see. Where did I hurt you? I honestly don’t remember thing! Is it bad? Do we need to go to the hospital? Let me check, Kylie rambled, panic rising.
Trevor pointed to his chest. Right here. You sure you want to see? I can take off my shirt for you.”
Kylie nearly tripped over her own feet in shock. “Wait… What? How?”
She prided herself on having a civilized approach to fighting–she normally avoided critical areas.
“You grabbed, groped, and squeezed. Nearly every inch. Still want to take a look?” Trevor smirked, his lips curling into a devilish grin, enjoying her reaction.
At this. Kylie’s face tumed bright red in an instant
