The Taylor Group heiress was Scarlett Taylor.
She spent two days at her family’s estate, pulling herself together. She rode her horse across the plains, feeling refreshed and invigorated. On a small hill, she reined in her horse, shouting at the sky, “Okay! I’m ready! Bring on whatever challenges lie ahead!”
She was apprehensive; she hadn’t dared to look up her fiancé’s information and was still unaware of his appearance or background. But she was mentally prepared for anything Scarlett took a deep breath, opening her phone to search for her fiancé’s details. Her phone rang. She answered through her Bluetooth headset.
It was Steve.“Scarlett, come back. Your brother’s home.”
Scarlett hadn’t seen her brother in over six months. She put away her phone, turning her horse and heading down the hill. The marriage was a done deal; regardless of her fiancé, she had to go through with it.

very stylish.
The horse was fast, reaching the estate gates quickly. Several luxury cars were parked there; her father and brother were chatting with someone. Scarlett froze, recognizing him. The man on the plane! How could it be him?! And her father and brother seemed familiar with him! This was incredibly awkward.
She was wearing an equestrian outfit, looking stunning. She dismounted gracefully, slightly self–conscious, clutching her riding crop.
Her brother, Ted, teased, “What’s
wrong,
Scarlett? Shy to meet your
fiancé?”
Scarlett’s eyes widened in shock. The man was Leon Brooks, her fiancé! This was too much of a coincidence.
Leon raised an eyebrow, offering a charming smile.“Hello again.”
Steve was surprised.“You’ve met before?”
Ted was curious.“How do you know each other?”
Scarlett’s face flushed crimson; she felt awkward, anxious, and embarrassed. After their…first encounter, would he still want to marry her?
Leon remained calm.“We were seated next to each other on the flight back to Paris.”
Steve and Ted exclaimed simultaneously, “What a coincidence!”
Steve and Ted exchanged a subtle glance. They immediately sensed the underlying tension.
Steve said, “Leon’s also a skilled equestrian. Scarlett, show him around the estate.”
Scarlett had questions for Leon.“Okay.”
Leon gestured towards the stables.
Scarlett nodded, walking beside him. Steve watched them, smiling.“A perfect match, isn’t it?”
Ted added, “He’s barely good enough for my sister.”

Leon smiled.“Yes. Don’t you want to marry me?”
– Scarlett stammered, “Yes, but… our first meeting…”
Leon looked at her intently, “Our meeting was romantic! I don’t care about your grat, I only care
about our future.”
Scarlett smiled.“Likewise,”
Leon took her hand.“As long as we both want to make this work, it will. Lefs build a good tile

Scarlett laughed. “I never thought you would be so romantic.”
Seeing her smile, the worry in his eyes eased.
Scarlett studied his handsome face, feeling oddly reassured. He was young, handsome, talerzeć, far better than she’d imagined. She found him cute after their two encounters. Marrying him was far better than marrying a stranger. And he was… great in bed.
Suddenly, an idea struck
her.“Were
