Linda had already left by the time Melina was done cooking. Even if Linda didn’t leave, Melina only prepared one serving.
She placed the food on the dining table and said to Andrew while in a good mood, “Enjoy your meal, Andrew. I’m leaving. Goodbye.”
Andrew’s expression was unreadable when he said, “Wait.”
Melina frowned. What was he planning this time? She already cooked for him, so what else did he want?
Andrew pulled out a document and handed it to Melina, “Read this. If there’s nothing wrong, sign it.”
Melina was confused. What did he want her to sign this time? Was he scared she would go against her words and insist on staying?
Melina grabbed the document and read it. It was another contract.
Instead of chasing her off, it was for her to be in a marriage of convenience with Andrew for three years. There was even a blank check.
Andrew said languidly, “Don’t you like money? After all, you were willing to sleep with me for ten thousand dollars.
“This contract lasts for three years. Fill in the amount you want.”
Melina’s eyes widened. She looked at Andrew, trying to find a single trace of respect in his eyes, but all she saw was cold indifference.
It was as icy as the coldest winter snow. The cold seeped into her body.
Melina placed the contract down and looked at Andrew with cold eyes for the first time, “Andrew, who do you think I am?”
A married couple should love, respect, help, and support each other. Even if they couldn’t fulfill all four, they should still show some respect to each other when they part. Unlike Andrew, who was humiliating her by making her sign a contract to sell herself to him.
Andrew frowned. He didn’t understand what went wrong. All Melina had to do was sign the contract.
Wasn’t money the easiest way to make a woman stay? He already offered her plenty of benefits. Andrew looked annoyed. “You little brat, you shouldn’t be so greedy. What more do you want?” Melina really wanted to yell at him, so she did. “Mister, go to a psychiatrist if you’re crazy! You asked me to leave, so I agreed to leave.

Andrew looked livid. The last person who yelled at him like this went bankrupt, but Melina wasn’t scared

You’ll never see me again!”
After saying her piece, Melina tossed the contract aside and left with her luggage. She didn’t Andrew farewell. She hoped they wouldn’t meet again.

But Andrew shattered all of her fantasies about marriage. Melina left. The house quieted down..
