The moment she stepped outside, she spotted Alfred standing not far away, watching her.
Her cheerful expression instantly vanished, and she put on a stern face.
Seeing that Melina was unharmed, Alfred looked puzzled and asked, “Ms. Crawford, was the tutoring session… successful?”
Still maintaining her stern demeanor, Melina replied, “It went very smoothly. However, next time you hire al tutor, you should at least inform them of the student’s real situation. That’s basic decency. Now, can! sign the long–term contract?”
Alfred’s polite expression faltered for a moment. “Ms. Crawford, please wait a moment.”
He quickly rushed to the door of Dante’s room, knocking and asking, “Mr. Rothschild, do you need anything?”
A calm voice came from inside. “No.”
Alfred was stunned. Dante hadn’t thrown a fit or demanded the tutor be fired.
In fact, Dante sounded… rather content.
Alfred didn’t dare enter the room,
