Luna Vengeance by Shevaux Vlada Chapter 48

Chapter 48

The Silver Moon Pack was on high alert. Ever since the clairvoyant’s words echoed through the courtyard—“There is a traitor in the Silver Moon Pack”—the atmosphere had shifted. Every pack member was being watched, every movement questioned. And yet, despite all of Tyler’s efforts, the traitor remained hidden.

I sat by the window, watching as warriors moved in pairs, patrolling the estate.

Tyler had been relentless. He had spent hours interrogating his warriors, trying to unmask the one who had let the rogue into our territory.

But so far? Nothing. No one had confessed. No one had slipped up. Whoever had tried to kill me was smart.

Patient. Calculated. Hidden.

And that was far more dangerous than anything else. A soft knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. “Luna,” a guard called. “Alpha Vincenzio has arrived.”

I stilled. My father. What was he doing here? When I walked outside, Alpha Vincenzio stood by the gates, towering as ever.

He looked unbothered, as if he had all the time in the world.

His dark hair was perfectly styled, his sharp golden eyes scanning the estate with an amused expression.

As if he knew everything happening here. As if he had predicted it all. He spotted me instantly. And the moment our eyes met, his lips curled into a slow, knowing smirk.

“There she is.” His voice was smooth, confident. “My perfect little daughter.”

I forced a small smile as I approached him. “Father. What brings you here?”

He tilted his head slightly, studying me with an unreadable expression. “Can’t a father check on his only heir?”

I arched a brow. “You don’t strike me as the checking-in type. I’ve been unconscious for two months and you didn’t even check on me? And it was all because Debbie tried to kill me.”

He smirked at me and said, “But you’re here now, alive and well. Thank the Moon Goddess for that.”

I sighed exhausted. “If you’re here to insist I bring back your long forgotten pack, you’re wasting your time. I will not go back to Killian. I’m staying here.”

He chuckled. “Fair enough.”

Then, he glanced around, taking in the warriors still searching for the traitor.

“Seems tense here.” His voice was light, but his eyes were sharp—too sharp.

I nodded slowly. “We have a situation.”

Alpha Vincenzio hummed, his gaze flickering back to me. “And how are you holding up?”

I hesitated. Because honestly? I didn’t know. Someone had tried to kill me. I was pregnant. And my life felt like it was being pulled in a thousand different directions.

But I nodded anyway. “I’m fine.”

Alpha Vincenzio smirked. And then—he winked.

“Good,” he murmured. “Anyway, I just dropped by to see how you’re doing. Good to see you alive and safe in this pack. That’s all I need to know for now. You take care, my perfect daughter.”
