Elise knew all about Ariana, the woman who was rumored to have shamelessly chased after Brian.

When William looked up, he saw Ariana limping in, her body covered in injuries. His brows furrowed deeply at the sight.
After a long pause, he finally asked, “Were you in a car accident?”
Ariana’s lips twitched slightly as she said, “I was kept overnight at the police station and got beaten up. Do you believe me?”
“I do,” William replied calmly. “You’d pull any stunt if it meant canceling your engagement with Brian.”
He’d already seen how far she would go. After the hot spring discovery at that South Gleaston plot, he found her quite intriguing.
“Thanks for the compliment.”
Ariana carefully took a seat across from him, her injuries making everything difficult.
William gave her a once–over and said, “By the way, Evelyn’s friend Maddie has been expelled.”
“Oh? That was fast. Thanks!”
“I didn’t do it for you. I did it for the school’s order.”
“Then thank you, Mr. Kingsman, for your strict discipline.
“You’re welcome.”
William placed a stamped file on the table. “Here is all the paperwork for South Gleaston. Plus the new identity you wanted.”
Ariana opened the file and saw an ID with her photo, though it was clearly edited with heavier makeup, making her look more striking than she actually was.
“Susan Smith?” She frowned. “Couldn’t you find a more elegant name?”
“I picked it at random. But it’ll do,” William replied. “If you don’t want Brian to learn you own that suburban property, you’d better use this identity carefully. Otherwise he’ll move in like a vulture and strip that land bare.”
“I’m not that foolish. That’s why I had you claim ownership from the start.”
