Zoe’s POV
I shook my head, “I don’t care, but what I do know is that I’ve rejected you which means that I don’t want you anymore. So just let that sink into your thick skull.”
Aaron grabbed my shoulders as he shook me, “How can you reject me; your fated mate?! Think back to the day that I accepted you as my mate!”
I remembered that day clearly. Our pack, the White Moon pack, had organized an international pack meeting whereby the Alpha and Beta‘ s families were requested to be present.
As soon as I stepped into the hall, my eyes clashed with Aaron’s eyes.
His dark eyes stared deeply into mine as he rushed to me and murmured, “Mine!”
He added in his deep voice, “I, Aaron
Jackson accept you, Zoe Hunter as my
mate.
I was shocked that he knew my name. Maybe it was because I was the White Moon pack’s Beta’s sister.
His deep voice had sent delightful shivers through my body and I had yearned for him.
I shook my head, “I don’t feel anything for you anymore, Aaron.”
“Just leave!” I added before he could reply.
He huffed, “Fine, I’ll leave!”
“Good!” I exclaimed and watched as he made his way out of the living and hopefully, out of my life.
The days passed by in a blur and I barely thought of Aaron. I occupied myself with doing chores in the pack house, training and spending time with my family and friends.
It has been two months since Aaron came to get me, and I was currently making my way to Alec’s mating ceremony with Teddy.
He had found his mate during that week when he visited a neighboring pack for pack business.
As soon as we entered our pack’s enormous garden where the mating ceremony was taking place, I heard Alpha Jack’s voice,
“Zoe!”
I turned around to see him walking through the crowd to reach us.
“Alpha!” Teddy and I greeted as he stopped in front of us.
His lips tugged up into a smile as his
eyes
roamed over my body. I felt flushed at his
stare.
He glanced at Teddy, “Do you mind if I steal your friend for a while?”
She grinned, “No problem, Alpha.”
His smile widened as he glanced at me,

“That’s great.”
She pulled her arm away from mine and he took my hand in his, tugging me towards. the less crowded area of the garden.
“So what do you want to talk to me about?” I asked him as I stared at our
linked hands.
His hand felt warm against mine and I was swooning, especially since he was so hot.
“Do you want to be my Gamma? As you’ve noticed, I don’t have a Gamma anymore and you seem to be the right fit.” He answered me as he stared into my eyes.
I felt excited and squealed, “Yes! I would love to be your Gamma.”
He chuckled in his velvety voice, and I grinned.
Suddenly, I was pushed aside, making me let go of Alpha Jack’s hand.
I turned around to see Aaron glaring at us, and Hannah was at his side as she scowled
“That’s great.”
She pulled her arm away from mine and he took my hand in his, tugging me towards the less crowded area of the garden.
“So what do you want to talk to me about?” I asked him as I stared at our

He yelled, “You can’t be with another, Zoe! I’ve waited patiently for you to come back to me, and I won’t let someone else steal you away from me!”
Aaron turned to Alpha Jack and growled,
“How dare you touch my mate?!”
