Chapter 11
Zoe’s POV
Alpha Jack growled back, “How dare you growl at me?!”
I stepped in front of Alpha Jack as I said,
“Aaron, you need to stop being so clingy. We’re not mates anymore!”
Hannah stepped in front of Aaron as she defended him, “Don’t blame him, he’s just following his wolf instincts. Besides, it’s all your fault. You need to take him back and come back to the pack with us!”
“How dare you blame?!” I exclaimed as I resisted the urge to growl at her.
However, she didn’t resist it and growled at
- me. She raised her hand and was about to slap me, but I grabbed it and twisted it.
She whimpered from the pain then shifted into her wolf form.
I didn’t shift into my wolf form because I
knew that I could take her even though she was a Beta. I also had Beta blood and mine was stronger because my Mom came from a line of Alphas.
“Hannah, calm down. You can’t fight my mate.” Aaron growled at her.
I was shocked that he wasn’t taking her side, and his words seemed to make her angry because sprang up and aimed to land on me, but I grabbed her by the throat.
I lifted her up as she whined and struggled against my hand.
I growled at her as my nails grew into claws and pressed into her fur, “What a useless Beta! Don’t you dare try attacking me again. or I swear I’ll tear your throat out!”
She nodded as she whimpered, and I threw
her aside.
She was panting as she shifted back to her human form.
Aaron didn’t run to her aid, instead he
stepped towards me, “There’s nothing going on between Hannah and I, she’s just my Beta and my friend.”
Hannah stood up and touched his arm as she gave him a seductive smile, “Aaron, I told you that we can be more than friends.”
He didn’t spare her a glance, instead he pushed her away, making her stagger and fall down with a gasp leaving her lips.
He didn’t pay her any attention.
Instead, his eyes stayed on me the whole time, “Just believe me and come home
with me, Zoe.

I shook my head, “I’m not going anywhere with you.”
He protested, “But-”
Alpha Jack cut him off, “She said she’s not going with you.”
A scowl made its way to Aaron’s face as he turned to Alpha Jack and yelled, “I wasn’t
talking to you!”
Aaron shifted into his wolf and growled at Alpha Jack. Before I knew it, He attacked Alpha Jack, but he was quick enough to change into his wolf form too.
I ran between them and stood in front of Alpha Jack as I pushed Aaron’s wolf away while growling at him and bit him on the shoulder with my extended wolf teeth as I shifted halfway.
“Aaron, you’re a son of a bitch!” I yelled
at him.
