On the other side, Yohannes walked to the instructor who totaled up the scores.
The instructor looked toward Yohannes, but his expression was not very good.
Yohannes‘ heart skipped a beat when he was being stared at like that.
“What’s the matter? Did I just make a mistake in shooting just now?”
The man shook his head. “No, you didn’t. You’re still up to your standard. You got ten–ring for all your ten shots.”
Yohannes was instantly relieved. “Then, why are you looking at me like that? Isn’t it obvious that I’ve won?”
“Exactly.” Another instructor chimed in, “If Yohannes is beaten by a group of ladies, he’ll surely become a laughingstock!”
“That’s right. If Yohannes loses, how will the instructors survive at Elstunda University? The students will think they’re better than us. Who will be compliant, then?”
“Don’t worry. Yohannes won’t lose. Let’s have a drink tonight to celebrate. We’ve been training for more than a week. It’s so exhausting!

Yohannes snorted. “Young people nowadays have never suffered hardship or struggled in society. Today is considered as our first lesson for them at university.”

Another scene of flattery continued.
Samantha frowned, and her eyes were full of impatience.
She took two steps forward and reached out to take the notebook from the instructor who recorded the scores.
She looked down.
Then, the comer of her lips twitched, and she smiled.
“Mr. Longman, accept your loss and fulfill your bet, please.”
When the instructors saw Samantha’s victorious smile, their hearts skipped a beat. They snatched the notebook from her and took a look.
Unexpectedly, there were eight eight–rings and two nine–rings.
According to the rules, it was Samantha who had won the competition narrowly.
“That’s impossible!” An instructor suddenly blurted out, “How can she achieve such good results in shooting?”
Everyone turned their attention to the instructor who recorded the scores.
The instructor’s face turned red. “Samantha did shoot well. There’s nothing wrong with the results.”

His companions were looking at him as if they were going to swallow him. He felt extremely wronged..
“I really wanted to interrupt their conversation just now, but they were so happy that they offered to go celebrate. How could
I have stopped them? The heavens are really making a fool out of us!” he exclaimed inwardly.
Before he could see Samantha’s results, he thought that Yohannes was bound to win that bet.
But who knew that a freshman who looked so weak would turn out to be so strong?
What was worse was that she was a girl.
It was really embarrassing.
Yohannes best buddy looked suspiciously at the instructor and questioned, “Did Samantha bribe you to help her cheat?”
“How is that possible? We’ve been training together for so many years already. Don’t you know my personality? How could I do such a thing?” The misunderstood instructor became anxious. “If you don’t believe me, you can go to the targets and check. The results on the target cannot be fabricated. The competition was streamed live the whole time. It’s impossible for me to exchange Sarmantha’s targets, too.”
That was true. Not only was it streamed live, but the targets were carried by themselves. There was really no possibility of cheating.
The other few instructors looked at each other and rushed to the targets ten yards away.
As expected, it was indeed eight eight–rings and two nine–rings.
Although Samantha’s results weren’t as good as Yohannes, according to the rules, she did beat him narrowly.
Yohannes looked at the target in disbelief and stumbled two steps
“No way! That’s impossible! How could I lose?”
Samantha sneered and glanced at Yohannes with mockery.

You looked down on me from the beginning and thought that I couldn’t beat you just because I was a freshman. Yohannes was mocked by Samantha until his eyes turned red. He clenched his fists tightly.
“I refuse to accept it!” he roared in a deep voice–like a wild beast.
Do you still want to have another bet, Mr. Longman?”
Yohannes clenched his fists and took a step closer to Samantha.
“Enough!” A loud voice could be heard from the speaker.
The principal of Elstunda University, Philip Hughes, who was carrying a speaker, quickly walked toward Samantha and Yohannes.
He stared deeply at Samantha and then glared at Yohannes.
“Mr. Longman, did you forget the purpose the university hired you? What you did today completely exceeded the responsibilities of an instructor and even violated our contract! It had a very bad influence on our students!” He added, “If you continue to be unrepentant, the university has every reason to fire you!”
Philip’s words were sharp and powerful.
He
pever mentioned Samantha but put all the blame on Yohannes.
An instructor was not satisfied and wanted to speak up for Yohannes but was stopped by the latter.
“Mr. Hughes, it’s my fault. I am willing to take responsibility for what happened today, so… Yohannes clenched his fists and stated. “I voluntarily resign from the position of a freshman instructor at Elstunda University. Please hire more excellent instructors to train the freshmen for the boot camp.
After saying that, Yohannes strode away.
Everyone could see that his upright silhouette was full of resentment and hostility.
Other instructors couldn’t stand it anymore and pleaded for Yohannes.
“Mr. Hughes, Yohannes has been in charge of the boot camp for freshmen at Elstunda University for four years. He has always been meticulous. You should really consider the effort that he has put in.
“He resigned by himself! There is no use saying anything more!” Philip’s voice was strong and powerful,
The other instructors didn’t dare to open their mouths anymore.
Then, Philip used the speaker to shout at the onlookers.
“Go back to your lecture halls! Go do your own things! If you stay on the field for the next five minutes, you will be demerited!”
He roared like a lion and frightened all the students who were watching. They dispersed immediately.
Even the freshmen who were supposed to be in the boot camp also took the opportunity to escape back to their dorm. After the field was finally empty, Philip glanced at Samantha significantly and said, “Samantha, follow me.”
