Silverstone’s pov
“Did you find anything?”
“No my queen, they left no traces.” Thompson said, his voice hoarse.
Jared might have outsmarted me again this time, but it won’t last for long-
Everybody assembled at the pack square for the Moonlight festival. Young men and women graced the event in beautiful
The young wolves that hadn’t gotten their wolves were the most excited. Tonight’s the night, the one we’ve all been waiting
for.
The park’s annual Moonlight Festival was in full swing. Bonfires dotted the expansive clearing, our flames dancing in rhythm with the excited chatter of other wolves. The air was thick with the scent of roasting meat and sweet berries.
Suddenly, a hush fell over the crowd as Beta Rhya stepped onto the raised wooden platform. His voice boomed across the gathering:
*Brothers and sisters of the Shadow Pack! The moment we’ve all been waiting for has arrived. Tonight, we welcome not just the full moon, but also our new Luna!”
Excited whispers rippled through the assembly. Children craned their necks, eager for a glimpse.
Rhya raised his hands, calling for silence.
“Alpha Darius asks that we open the Path of Moon light to usher in our Luna, Silverstone Corbyn. The daughter of our great king Alpha Corbyn!”
On cue, the pack members lining the festival’s main path ignited silver lanterns, creating a luminous walkway. They bowed. their heads in respect as I appeared at the path’s entrance.
I stepped into view, adorned in a flowing white dress embroidered with moonflowers. A crown of woven silver leaves rested upon my brown hair and the Jewelries that Elish had brought for me the other day. I moved with grace and quiet confidence, acknowledging my pack members with warm smiles and gentle nods.
As I walked, voices rose in a traditional welcoming song, the melody weaving through the night air. Young pups scattered flower petals in my wake, giggling with delight.
Reaching the platform, I ascended the steps to stand beside Rhya. My voice, though soft, carried clearly as I addressed my pack:
“My heart swells with joy to join you at this Moonlight Festival, not just as a member of Shadow pack, but as your Luna. Let us celebrate the bonds of the pack, the bounty of the forest, and the light of the moon that guides us all.”
Cheers erupted from the crowd. Rhya grinned broadly, raising a goblet. “To Luna Silverstone!”
To Luna Silverstone! The pack echoed, their voices unified in welcome and celebration.
The festival resurned with renewed vigor, music and laughter filling the night as the pack celebrated both their traditions and their new beginning under the watchful eye of the full moon

Chapter 16
“Long live the Luna,” they intonated in unison. Looking at their faces, I could see how much they loved me in their eyes.
They were excited.
I continued addressing my people, promising to lead them with love and unity.
“I’ll make sure no one is harmed nor intimidated in any way. This is your Luna’s word to you!” I continued. My voice firm. a soft smile playing on my lips.
Their chants filled the air. The atmosphere was peaceful, at least for a while I could say that I was happy.
Some of the pack heads and elders addressed the pack, promising their undying support and transparency in running the affairs of the pack, Klein also spoke on behalf of the pack Betas.
“…I’m aware that there will be difficulties. They are constantly there. However, I am also aware that these difficulties are merely chances for development, adaptation, and success. Together, we shall confront them with the same tenacity and cohesion that have carried us this far.”
A brief smile tugged at the corners of his mouth as he looked around the square, “I’m not here to take the lead. My purpose is to lead with you. And we’ll work together to create something even better.”
His words were firm and reassuring, I couldn’t help but admire his charisma as he spoke. Aside from Klein’s height and his broad shoulders, there was something very peculiar about his looks.
Something that made everyone love him effortlessly, since he won Jared in a wrestling match he became more popular in the pack. All the pack girls wanted to be with him.
I sighted Alpha Derek and his entourage immediately they arrived at the entrance. As always, Jared was unusually excited. Beta Rhya announced their presence and everyone stood up to welcome them.
My people seemed happy to be having a joint moonlight festival with the Crescent pack for the first time. I was happy to see them happy.
Derek’s seat was just beside mine, he was a guest and he must be treated with great respect. That was the first lesson my late father taught me while I was still training to become Luna.
With Derek’s arrival, the festival officially began. Young wolves stared at the moon, waiting for their wolf to possess them while the ones that didn’t know their mates prayed to the moon goddess for a clear revelation of their mate.
The atmosphere quivered with loud growling and howling. As I enjoyed watching my people wolf out, I never took my eyes. off Jared and Derek.
My wolf sense was high, my nose sensed everything different in their movement, even their breath.
As I watched the festival, moonlight glinted off my silver bracelet. Suddenly, I gasped, my body tensing. The feeling of uneasiness crashing through me.
I quickly excused myself, not wanting to create any scene,
The pack fell silent to me
My transformation began violently. Bones cracked and elongated with sickening pops. Silver fur erupted from my skin, shimmering with an otherworldly glow. My face contorted, muzzle extending, teeth sharpening to gleaming points.
I grew rapidly, far beyond normal werewolf size. My muscles rippled beneath my dress, now streaked with luminescent patterns. My eyes blazed like twin moons, ancient and powerful.

The massive primordial wolf towered over me. Each breath sent ripples through the air, heavy with primal energy. My claws dug deep furrows in the earth as I shifted my weight.
I threw back my head and howled. The sound reverberated with unearthly harmonics, shaking leaves from trees.
In moments, I had become a legendary incarnate.
A primordial wolf.
Just as foretold by the moon goddess during my rebirth.
I felt strength surge through me. I was reverberated. The power within me was heavy, I couldn’t control it.
I let out a loud howl, running into the woods.
